Post subject:  Academy of Awards-LotR Scene by Scene
Well, i dunno how i stumbled upon this idea. It is like the academy awards-only we vote on best scenes for each category. (i.e., best picture becomes best scene, etc). I think to start i am going to need 5 nominations per category.

The Return of the King

Actor in a Leading Role
Actor in a Supporting Role
Actress in a leading Role
Actress in a Supporting Role
Art Direction
Costume Design
Directing
Cinematography
Scene Editing
Makeup
Music Song
Visual Effects
Best Scene

For example, let's say i wanted to nominate the scene The Battle of Pelennor Fields for best Visual Effects. I would post it here. Let's say you want to nominate Aragorn for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the scene The Paths of the Dead. Another example would be in Allegiance of Denethor, i can nominate Denethor, Faramir, or Pippin. Just post it here.

For the Best Actor/Actress in a Supporting Role, only nominte a person if (s)he is in that scene with another person of the same sex. For instance, if i want to nominate Legolas in Paths of the Dead, i can. I can also nominate Aragorn in Paths of the Dead for this scene. For the scene Allegiance of Denethor, i can nominate Pippin, Faramir, or Denethor.

Your limit for nominations is 1 per category.

If the scene/actor/actress that YOU nominate wins, you win an award.

i can't think of a scene with two women in it, so how can i nominate someone for best actress in a supporting role?

once i've got that figured out, i'll post my nods.

For that one. . .i am unsure. Maybe we will have to just get rid of that, because the only one i can think of is the last scene where aragorn gets crowned king. We may just have to get rid of that.
