You know, I really shouldn't be starting another series of contests but I just feel like the contest section needs some more diversity in its contests so here goes with the writing rounds.

THE BASICS:
-- Every round I will post a new prompt. Prompts can be range from a subject, idea, or a line.
-- You must write a piece (drabble, one-shot, etc) from ANY fandom or even original writing that includes the prompt.
-- Limit of length of writing will vary.
-- Awards will probably be graphics.
-- It will be a public voting; however, posts will be editted after recording the vote.

P.S. I must ask that no one attempt another "Prompt" like contest, if you would like to suggest ideas for prompts, feel free to post or pm me but I have to be the one to regulate fanfiction writings because of iffy thin line about rules/guidelines of the forum.

Yay! First contestant! [hugs] Are the guidelines okay [twiddles thumbs]? Any changes you might think of.

The due date is definitely not set in stone, I may extend it so you guys have at least 2-3 weeks to write your stuff.

Yep- the rules look good to me! Just one quick question- we can write pretty much anything (fiction, poetry, fanfic, etc.) as long as it relates the prompt and fits in with the rules? Just making sure before I start writing. lol

I think I'll enter... if I can come up with something at least half-way decent.

You'd be surprised how good the writings people "come up with". :p

Post subject:

Oh bother. I really want to enter this, but I can't think of anything to write about. Well, I'll sit down with the prompt when I take my hour for writing today and see what I come up with.

Don't worry, you'll get an inspiration. It can be from anything, remember, as long as it has some mention of the winter season! :)

*sniffle*
I just wrote my very first tragedy. But I like it nonetheless... I guess... I'm surprised I'm not sobbing over here.

*goes off to find a box of tissues anyway*

:o! Oh me! [comforts Nightingale] I didn't mean for you to be distraught over the entry----but I'spose it does good if it makes even the writer cry! I did get your pm, thank you for entering!

It's okay, Nightingale, mine was depressing too! My mom said it ruin her night! I thought it was good, though...but sad.
