Hello, ladies and gentlemen. May I present to you -- The Take the Picture Yourself Contest! *crowd applauds* What is this, you ask? Well, it's really quite simple. Most people, when they make a graphic, will use pictures taken by professional photographers to create their art. But not here! Here, you will take a picture with your own digital camera and use this picture in your graphic. Remember that you are not limited to landscapes and you can use models or anything you wish. You may use textures, brushes, patterns, fonts, and the like, but make sure the photography used is your own. The winner will be judged on their photography AND their graphic skills. *the crowd emits a large number of ooh's and aah's*
Now, here are the rules. *crowd goes silent*
1. Do not use the photography of others. (Obviously)
2. The graphic must be 700 x 500 pixels or 600 x 400 pixels.
3. Have your entry done by Christmas (December 25th).
4. You may use a picture that you had taken before this contest was created.
5. Unlimited number of participants!
6. Only one entry per person
