I'm going to borrow the rules from the lovely Kitoky's Hallowfest contest.The Challenge::
Write a passage straight out of a holiday novel. This means you don't need to establish basic information. It should be thought to have been taken straight out of the middle of a novel! It can be any topic (original, fanfiction, whatever) as long as it fits the holiday theme.
