Ok I'll enter and here is my poem: Pitch Black I can’t see your face, There’s nothing there, Nothing but blackness, As if I were walking into A cave without a lantern, It’s as dark as onyx, It can be a rose, Or a name of a movie, As dark as night, Unruffled black velvet, It can be seen when Candles are out, But it can never be felt. |

Here's my poem. The Tide Whispering wind Then all goes still Streaks of red across a blue canvas Arching impossibly high above Whisper The dawning's whisper The whisper of a new day Of new life Of new hope But that whisper calls For a boat to sail "Give to me your ring of silver, and you take mine If you must go And with this silver ring you shall ever know It's you my heart still holds" Across the rolling sea he would sail Bidden by the king He kisses her hand Tears, she can hold no longer Farewell, farewell to one true love Autumn comes, winter fades White uncovers green But still no word from him She knows her love has died She cursed the sea, and cursed the winter Cursed the wind that breathed And she cursed the king, and all of his servants That stole her love from her Tears of grief have called him home But as a spirit, he cannot stay Nothing in the world Could save him now She awoke to true love's whisper There he was, at her feet But when she pulled him to her No warmth from him did she find "Give to me your sword of silver And I will lay down to die, my love If it is you that cannot stay Then I must follow" So she took his sword of silver And when she awoke to dawning's whisper Tide rolled out to meet them |

Okay ill add my poem. Can I add 2? These are from my quizzilla account - Yaviel14. I hope its not to gory. I have a certain cinda style with my poetry, usally its like im telling a story or trying to show you something. Not sure well here you go hope you like it. Wounded Soldier- I was there on the battle field of pain, As I wacthed my friend motionless he fell, Blood dripped down his arms from his slow beating heart, Hope had now faded into the mist, My eyes met his as he fell to his doom, I could not bare to see him fall like this, To suffer when he was fighting for the country, While all of us our at home wacthing our mindless televisions, While there fighting to there death, Were just are here, At our Homes, Oh how I wish that I did not have to see him die this way, Sometimes I wish it was me, Out there bleeding to death, So he would be allowed to live in peace, God bless the soldiers. Kay its cinda deep. I wrote this a few months ago. Please no one take this poem as a ofence I dont mean it to be I was cinda depressed when I wrote this. |

Here's my poem: PAPER FLOWERS I have traveled terrains And sailed the seas; Noble kindred I have met And fair places I have seen Yet these visions remain But silent longings of my heart When morn approaches and The silent dawn breaks, As rain falls gently Whispering its tale; I linger on in my field Of lovely paper flowers I behold their glory I feel their joy A smile they bring Unto my sullen lips Yet I feel no warmth Within these fields I hear not the whisper Of wind through trees From the truth I do hide Pushing away the World of reality Not wishing to hear Such words unbidden In my fields of fancy I am the king The pain the joy, Are at my command Yet as fair and as true As they may appear, Still they are distant- Floating paper flowers Lost in my maze Of pleasant dreaming, I drown out the screaming And chaos of your pleading And linger on in my falsehood So let me lie here Deep within myself And bask as a goddess In this imaginary light; My field of paper flowers The basic idea of this poem was taken from the song Imaginary by Evanescence: i linger in the doorway of alarm clock screaming monsters calling my name let me stay where the wind will whisper to me where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story in my field of paper flowers and candy clouds of lullaby i lie inside myself for hours and watch my purple sky fly over me don't say i'm out of touch with this rampant chaos - your reality i know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge the nightmare i built my own world to escape in my field of paper flowers and candy clouds of lullaby i lie inside myself for hours and watch my purple sky fly over me swallowed up in the sound of my screaming cannot cease for the fear of silent nights oh how i long for the deep sleep dreaming the goddess of imaginary light |
