This contest has something, we hope, for everyone here. This variety of options is listed below with an explanation and example for each. There will be a theme for all categories. The rules are seriously simple. They’ll be listed riiiiight here... no wait…. HERE! RULES 1. Do not we repeat in a louder voice DO NOT take credit for other peoples work. Each entry must be your own. 2. Stay to the theme, cuz well you’ll be an oddball if you don’t. 3. You can enter as many as contests which, just happens to be all of them. Writing Contest The Theme: It can be about anything at all, but it must have this sentence in it somewhere.[s] “And the pink poka-dotted sheep jumped over the fence.”[/s] (Just kidding!) “The water was frigid; everything felt as though it were dead. Explanation: The entry must be less than 1000 words. It must have the sentence above in it, but it can be anywhere and about anything. Example: There is no example for this contest as we want you to come up with something on your own design. Humor Sentences Theme: None Explanation: In the 10 sentences below, there are only half a sentence. You must compete them and make them as humorous as possible. Doesn’t matter what it says, as long as it remotely makes sense. Example: I walked into the snow…. …and to my disgust, it was yellow. Sentence 1. It was spring.. 2. But I didn’t realize….. 3. The pack of crazy llamas… 4. While I was in the airport…. 5. I never should have… 6. I have had this phobia of… 7. It was a harsh winter.. 8. A little birdie once told me… 9. Example: There once was a person named Bob, who was ever so strong. He was feared in all the land, because at night he became something ghastly, that scared all the villagers away until one day, Bob met a knight in the forest. They had a great battle and it ended wonderfully. SO where is Bob now you ask? Banner Contest Theme: World of Adventure (You don’t have to have that on it, you can or original text) Explanation: This is just like a regular banner contest. This is a great idea. I just have one question. can you decide which ones to enter as you go along? Like if today you decide to enter the sentence contest, and tomorrow you want to join the banner contest, can you do that? well, here's my first contest: *Sentence* 1. It was spring.. but I was still hibernating 2. But I didn’t realize….. I had wet my pants 3. The pack of crazy llamas… was going to charge at Frodo because they wanted his ring 4. While I was in the airport…. I thought I saw a pussycat a creeping up on me. 5. I never should have…painted myself gold. 6. I have had this phobia of… gold. 7. It was a harsh winter.. with lots of icy snow and gusty winds. 8. A little birdie once told me… that people evolved from monkeys. 9. What people don’t know about doctors is…. that they're actually afraid of needles 10. On the search and rescue for the rare pink elephant… we decide to go under cover by smashing watermelons on ourselves.

Smilie Contest: Once there was a very happy little smiley named Bob. Bob was happy no matter what, and it tended to drive everyone around him insane. "His optimism is driving me crazy!" Cried and angry smiley named Bill one day. Many of his friends agreed. They decided to get rid of Bob. Their first idea was to hit Bob so hard he went crazy (even crazier than he already was) so that he would then stumble off a nearby cliff. But alas! Bob fell but landed happily on his trampoline. "Why is this not working?!?" Cired Bill in anguish. "We must think of another plan!" Then one of his friends, Benny, admitted to being a wizard. "I can turn Bob into something unpleasant!" He said. So he pulled out his magic wand :lightsabre: and turned Bob into a troll. However Bob was not swayed! "I am green! How lovely! Green is my favorite color!" Bill was struck by a sudden and strange piece of insight. Bob was naively happy and nothing would ever change that! So Bill, Benny and all their friends decided to join Bob in his quest for eternal optimism. 8) + THE END!!!

I'll enter the smilie story! There once was a boy. 8) And he liked to rock. He liked a girl, and he liked her a lot But the boy was sad, because girl didn't like him. So he was blue. He wanted to impress her, so he tried to become a knight and he took on the school bully but the bully hit him with a fish, and he almost ended up like this: . Then, he tried becoming a Jedi, :lightsabre: but girl kicked his butt at that, so that ruined his ego . He finally tried the "bad boy" look, and lo and behold, girl liked it! . And, they lived happily ever after.

ok, I'll enter the writing contest too: Vendethiel could feel the wind in her hair as she flew along the forest path. Her horse galloped, urged on by her mistress at the joyful prospect of returning home. The elf maiden had been away for a long time and was looking forward to returning home, to her river city. A line of trees appeared over the horizon, signaling the end of the flat plains. Home was close within that forest. Faster, faster, Vendethiel thought. It was no time before branches and leaves were whizzing past her face instead of thin air as she rode forward. Just a bit further until she reached home. In fact, she should be seeing her people here and there any time now. Except, no one was there... Vendethiel ignored this observation for the time being. There were plenty of explanations for the absence of people. Perhaps they were just nearer in today. But she found this was not the case as she drew closer. No other forms of life seemed to be around; the only breath she could sense was her own. A slight panic began to overwhelm her when she reached the city. Though the large castle-like building that was home to all of her people still stood, it was completely empty. Of course Vendethiel could only see this from a ways off, but more than that she could feel it. Something about her home seemed darker; it had lost the glow and brightness it held in life. Vendethiel urged her horse onward. Though she did not want to accept this disappearance, its pain still pierced her heart. The worst thoughts she could muster came to mind. Have they all been killed? Had everyone been lost? Of course not, she told herself. That was unreasonable. But if not that, then...what? Perhaps she had not noticed them, she told herself foolishly. But Vendethiel clung to that last hope and rode off to the nearby river. Hopefully there she would find some sign of life. However no apparent sign surfaced as Vendethiel approached the river. She dismounted and walked over. The large body of water still rushed along its path quickly, though it seemed everything else in her life had paused. She ran her fingers through the river. The water was frigid; everything felt as though it were dead. But Vendethiel would still not accept that assumption. They had all ran off, she said now. They have moved to a new location. Of course, they would send a messenger to her...only she had missed it! This logic satisfied Vendethiel for the moment. But now she knew not what to do. Suddenly her eye caught something in the air. Smoke was rising, and not far off. Was it a camp, a group of people? Vendethiel cautiously moved forward. But as she approached, her senses caught a foul smell. This was no group of elves. She spotted the orcs too late. "Hey!" One of them cried, and Vendethiel's eyes widened. Fear overcame her as she turned the other way, every inch of her praying to outrun the fierce orcs. She could feel their footsteps behind her as she raced toward her horse. Quickly she mounted and rode off at an even faster speed than which she had come. “Drego, drego!” she cried to her horse. Vendethiel kept going, only hoping she could make it outside the forest. Certainly they would not follow her there. Avo acheno, she told herself. Do not look back. As the trees grew sparser and light shone more fiercely, Vendethiel knew the fields were near. Her horse galloped at the speed of light until they were finally out. Vendethiel patted her horse, calming him as he slowed down. Now she looked back to the forest, checking to see no one had followed. The trees were unmoving—there was no sign of others. Vendethiel sighed, realizing she had been holding her breath. But now that did not matter. Now she needed to find out what to do. The shock of her people’s disappearance still held a tight hold on her. No thoughts would come, and all she could find herself to do was kneel and weep. Her long, dark hair became wet with her tears as she mourned for her people. Whether the orcs were to blame, or a greater force, or if they had all fled, Vendethiel still felt alone in the entire world. But her sadness turned to determination after the feeling had passed. She knew now that no matter what, she would find her people, or at least live in a way to honor their memory. Darkness fell as Vendethiel got up onto her steed one more time. And this time, she swore, she would not get off until her promise was fulfilled. and here is the sentence contest. not my best work, but I'm not that good with humor... 1. It was spring…on the planet Zeekophar in the Biloglob system eons away. 2. But I didn’t realize…the apple had a worm in it until I had bit into the fruit. 3. The pack of crazy llamas…all rushed toward the outhouse. 4. While I was in the airport….I ran into the fellowship near Flight 606 to Mordor 5. I never should have…assumed that the blood was red sauce 6. I have had this phobia of…red sauce since then. 7. It was a harsh winter…in 2003, because RotK was always sold out. tear 8. A little birdie once told me…never to listen to strangers. 9. What people don’t know about doctors is…they don’t know anything either 10. On the search and rescue for the rare pink elephant…we realized it was only covered in pink bubbles.

Fippy was in reality a sent from to vanquish the in the disguise of . Fippy had a pet named Bomb (pronounced Bob, thank you very much). One day the were [s]invading[/s] [cough] calling to say "hi." All the were like this -->:-o. Fippy told them to and act like this --> . All by himself (except for Bomb --> ), Fippy descended the slopes of Mt. Doom --> to the [s]invading[/s] friendly . Unfortunately, [s]Fippy was too [/s] [cough] the were too strong and ended up Fippy with a sledgehammer (like this -->:smash:). [s]THE END.[/s] In the end Bomb --> came to the rescue with an army of who played the . The bashed the (like this --> ). Then [s]Gandalf[/s] [cough] came on the back of giant eagles to rescue Fippy from Mt. Doom. Fippy -->:bounce: [s]stole all of Bomb's credit[/s] [cough] earned his worth and lived on with his tribe of . He was proclaimed a national and given the Nobel Peace Prize. He lived happily ever after. THE END. [cough]
