I’ve been running Google Ads for years, and lately I’ve started questioning my old habit of constantly creating new accounts for every new project. Back in the day it felt normal, but now every fresh account seems to face the same obstacles: limited spend, slow approvals, extra verification, random reviews. It feels like repeating the same painful onboarding cycle over and over again. I’m wondering whether investing in aged Google Ads accounts is actually smarter in the long run. Not as a hack, but as a business decision — similar to buying an established domain instead of registering a new one. Does account history really compound over time, or is it overrated? Would love to hear deep, experience-based opinions, not surface-level advice.

This is a great comparison, and in my experience account history really does compound — just quietly and over time. Aged Google Ads accounts with consistent, clean behavior tend to be more predictable: fewer surprise limitations, smoother scaling, and less friction when launching new campaigns. Creating new accounts repeatedly resets all that trust and forces you back into the “prove you’re legit” phase. That doesn’t mean aged accounts replace good strategy, but they remove unnecessary resistance. I personally stopped spinning up fresh accounts unless absolutely necessary and started focusing on maintaining and acquiring trusted ones. When researching this shift, I spent a lot of time reading explanations and real use cases at https://adwordsresources.com/en/ which helped me see aged accounts as long-term assets rather than shortcuts. For serious advertisers, stability is underrated.

The domain comparison really clicked for me — thanks for the insight.
