I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put a banner that was given to me in my signature!

Would someone kindly explain to me, in plain english and in detail, how-to-put-banners-in-sigs-for-dummies???????

This would be sooooooooooooo appreciated!

All you need is the url of the banner to start. Once you have that all you insert it between these two codes - like this

Simpleness. =] I had to ask this, too. Here's the code:

Now, all you have to do is replace the image's url where I've put "urlhere" with no spaces and you're all set!

You'll need to upload the banner from your computer from a hosting site, like Imageshack (it is free). Save the banner to your computer, and go to Imageshack, and click "upload" and then find the banner on your computer, and then click Ok. When it has uploaded to Imageshack, a page of URL's will appear. You need the bottom me. Copy it and paste it like the guys above said. :-)

You can always open the picture up in a new window [the url will appear in the address bar] or you can save it to an image host like Imageshack or Photobucket and it will provide you with the images url. I would go with the latter.

And it's no problem at all. :)

Okay, I was given the link to the picture. It opens up in photobucket. Up on the title it says: http//i86.photobucket.com/albums/k117/ForeverFrodo/Elladan2.png

Is that the url or only part of it?? Or is that even it at all??? When I save it, it saves as Elladan2. Please help...
