Greetings, I put this here because I wanted the contributors to the site to notice this...This has been burning my curiosity for a while now.
My question is about the lyrics to "The Entmoot" on the Two Towers soundtrack, as transcribed in the song lyrics section. The thing is, that track, and all other Ent/Elf-related tracks on the complete recordings, does not have the lyrics. I love the words, but I cannot find them sung, or in fact, anywhere!
I'm just really curious, where did this song come from? If it isn't in the film, why is it there? Just because it's a nice poem?
The lyrics are:
'The woods are burning, the ground lies bare. Do you feel it in the earth? Can you smell it in the air? The war is upon you, Death moves in the fading light. Are you part of this world? Will you join their fight?'
Edit: I have since identified the internet delux edition of the soundtrack as the source. Does anyone have that, and can shed some light? It's strange that this is presented everywhere as the lyrics to the piece, when the piece has no singing, except for two choir notes.

First off, let me say, "Welcome to the forum!!" As for the somg itself they are indeed lovely Lyric but I know nothing about them. I had the soundtrack but it was just the regular soundtrack. I believe the only song with lyric in the soundtrack I had was Into the West. Did you find a version of it being sung then, on the delux edition? I would love to hear it!

I have not. I want to clarify that this is in Elvish, originally. There are many songs on the soundtrack that are sung in elvish, and the words, in both languages, can be found here on the main site. Thanks for replying, though!

I must have had a different soundtrack then. It has been some time since I have listened to it but i don't remember lyric to any of my other songs I had.
Sorry I could not be of more help, though... :/ I'm sadly not the most knowledgeable about such things.
