Delete threads that are really old?

Doesn't it slow the computer down if we have too many posts?

this as u may have guessed has been discussed in the past and will no doubt come under scrutiny again in the future.

Hopefully, for most people the wait time isn't too bad or inconvenient.

One of the main points of a forum is the collection of views and information over the years. Sometimes it can be good to look over old posts that may have brought up things that you may of never knew. This is why the mod team is often reluctant to delete old posts for the sake of maybe a second or so speed.

however if alot more people feel the same way as shadowcraft then we will have another look at the situation and see what can be done.

Thanks for your views shadow.

You could have an archive to put all of the old or locked threads in so that people can go back to them.

Oh no! I love going back to look at old threads! It brings back memories.

It shouldn't take that long for pages to load. My computer is practically a million years old and it still loads the pages in a semi-descent amout of times, less than 2 minutes at least...
