I'm really happy Arwen decided to make some new ranks. It gives me something to look forward to now, especially coming up with my own rank. That'll be fun!

Silver stars! *gasps* And I agree with you, Beri, it was kinda boring just being a Vala all the time with nothing higher to work twards. And does anyone know how the 'choose your own rank title' works? I'm a little confused by that.

Once you reach 9000 posts, it will say "Custom Rank" above your avatar, and you'll have shiny silver stars. Then you PM a mod with the custom title you want. Could be anything short that you want - doesn't even have to be LotR-related. "Post Queen," "Lady of the Wood," "Legolas's Wife," "Hobbit-lover," whatever. Those are just pathetic examples that I made up on the spot, in case you couldn't tell

I think it's great, because there is more to reward you for making lots of posts. It is kind sad to be right back at the bottom though. |

I love the new ranks as well But it will be a confusing transition, especially with the unities.  And it's much more fun to notice your new rank than just a post number, which we shouldn't really watch anyway. I just went from Ent to Half-Elf! Yay!  I love 'em Arwen!

I like working up towards ranks. I can't wait until I have over 9000 post. Darn, that's gonna take a while especially now that my posts are disappearing. Since I'm an Ent right now, does that mean I have t...o... t....a....l....k s....l....o....w...? |

no my freind it dosen't, the only thig that annoys me about the ranking system is you have to have 7000 before you rach the top and i'm only on 2000 |
