Thanks! Ah, I sorta wondered if that had something to do with it, anyway, that’s ok. ;)

Ooooo, Nurr! *cries* You took the quote I was going to use! I adore that quote too! :D it’s such a moving and beautiful way to phrase the end of the story and the books… I just love it… (*cough* they had BETTER put that in the movie! :karate:) maybe I will still use it. ;)

THIS WILL NOT DIE!!!! :fish:

here's my entry! Sorry it took me so long... :headwall: I really don't want teh Narnia-ness to die though... especially now with PC so close to coming out on DVD! :D I am re-undergoing Narnia OBSESSION!

here's my TLB volley. I just love that whole ending quote so I had to use it too... even if it seems like I'm copying Nurr.

I do not blame you. On any of that. Narnia is too amazing for this battle to die and PC is so tantalizingly close....

And that quote is LOVE. It seriously is the best quote of the entire series. That's a brilliant blend! I love how you used the picture from the book. And the ring thing is so cool!

I am going to have so much trouble with the next one. Favorite quote? There are too many!

I know! And especially now… I have gotten back into SERIOUS Narnia mode. :D
I agree. That is the best quote in all of Narnia! And thanks!

Oh, WOW! Now that Ed blend is drool worthy! I wuve him so much! :teehee: But I decided to make Susan for my favorite character blend… though it was a VERY hard choice. *cries*

Image

I know what you mean… I’m not sure what I’m going to pick for favorite quote… er, maybe I’ll just randomly pick one. :P

:jawdrop: That's awesome! I love it. Seriously.

So I collected a ton of good Narnia quotes. And I was considering just doing a blend with them all (what, cheat? no...:teehee: ) but I decided on this one because it's such a cool quote and it kind of....well, it's like explaining faith.

Image

And now for the collection. Honorable mentions, you might say. :P

Runner-up
"Then I fell at his feet and thought, Surely this is the hour of death, for the Lion (who is worthy of all honor) will know that I have served Tash all my days and not him. ... But the Glorious One bent down his golden head and touched my forehead with his tongue and said, Son, thou art welcome. But I said, Alas, Lord, I am no son of thine but a servant of Tash. He answered, Child, all the service thou hast done to Tash, I account as service done to me." But I said also (for the truth constrained me), yes I have been seeking Tash allo my days. Beloved, said the Glorious One, unless thy desire had been for me thou wouldst not have sought so long and so truly. For all find what they truly seek." -Emeth, the Last Battle (I love this one, because it's like explaining all those who never got the chance to hear of Christ.)

"What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing. It also depends on what sort of person you are." -about Uncle Andrew, Magician's Nephew

"Aravis also had many quarrels (and, I'm afraid even fights) with Cor, but they always made it up again: so that years later, when they were grown up they were so used to quarreling and making it up again that they got married so as to go on doing it more conveniently." -Horse and His Boy

"Once a King in Narnia, always a King in Narnia. But don't go trying to use the same route twice. Indeed, don't try to get there at all. It'll happen when you're not looking for it. And don't talk too much about it even among yourselves. And don't mention it to anyone else unless you find that they've had adventures of the same sort themselves. What's that? How will you know? Oh, you'll know all right. Odd things, they say-even their looks-will let the secret out. Keep your eyes open. Bless me, what do they teach them at these schools." -Professor Digory, LWW

"You come of the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve," said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth." -PC

"Now the trouble about trying to make yourself stupider than you really are is that you very often succeed." -about Andrew, MN

"This was bad grammar of course, but that is how beavers talk when they are excited; I mean, in Narnia--in our world they usually don't talk at all." :teehee: about Mr. Beaver, LWW

"You see, Aslan didn't tell Pole what would happen. He only told her what to do. That fellow will be the death of us once he's up, I shouldn't wonder. But that doesn't let us off following the signs." -Eustace, I believe. Silver Chair

"That's all right," said Edmund. "Between ourselves, you haven't been as bad as I was on my first trip to Narnia. You were only an ass, but I was a traitor." Whoo! Dawn Treader

"’Oh, Aslan,’ said Lucy. ‘Will you tell us how to get into your country from our world?’
‘I shall be telling you all the time,’ said Aslan. ‘But I will not tell you how long or short the way will be; only that it lies across a river. But do not fear that, for I am the great Bridge Builder." -just so cool. VoDT

"Life isn't all fricasseed frogs and eel pie." -Puddleglum! SC

Hehe, awww thanks! :D I’m happy to hear that, Nurrshey!

Lol, that would have been cool too (nah, not cheating... just bending the rules ;))… but I LOVE the one you finally decided on. It’s just great! Gosh, all of the quotes you picked are winners! I’m gonna have to do some quote hunting of my own soon… though I dunno if they’ll be able to compare. That blend is pretty amazing! Just beautiful!

and if nothing else, I might just have to steal one of the ones you found...

sorry, double post... BUT here's my volley! Gah, there were so many really, really amazing quotes... but I finally decided that TLB has THE BEST. So yeah, that's where these two come from. (yes I picked two...) I just loved the first Edmund one... I dunno, I liked the way he described dying (though he didn't know it) and it's Edmund... so you can't go wrong. ;) and I LOVE the second one. So yeah... they both just make me... I dunno, they speak deeply to me. :) (although they are both about death basically )

That's so pretty! And yes, TLB has amazing quotes. Nope, can't go wrong with Ed! Oh man, I wish we could have had tons of quote ones. Cause they are just so amazing.

Yay, a blend with no blending involved! :teehee: I wish I could have remembered the actual quote though.

Thanks Lethy!

This battle is fantastic, guys. Narnia! <3

Hehe, thanks for the comments, Lethy and Kit! :P And I must say that I’m glad to hear that was your reaction to that volley, Kit… it was honestly what I was shooting for when I made it. ;) So I’m good with your liking it and disliking it all at once. ;)

Thankies again!

Yeah, I’m still here, Nurr… sorry for disappearing. I have been having a heck of a time trying to pick just the right person/thing/creature to fit “courage”. :P I am really trying to have my volley up ASAP...
