First of all, those banners are beautiful! 
Effects like that in the lower banner are often used when the pictures' quality isn't that good, but as I can see in the first picture, the blending is flawless and the pictures are great. I voted without effect, because the colors are so much brighter, the contrast is way better in my opinion and her eyes come out perfectly! It doesn't need any camouflage from where I sit

I like the first one better.  It's brighter and clearer. I really like the contrast-- it's beautiful!
