The faded picture is really simple... You copy the picture you want (Normally I just copy merged) then paste it as a new layer. Set it to darken -which is how it is on the Scarlett one- or lighten -like on the Anakin/Padme one. Move it to where you want it, then you erase everything else! (Hope that makes sense! )

Examples:
[Step One]
[Step Two]
[Step Three]
[Step Four]
[Step Five]
Paste as new layer between step one and two!

Oh, and the name of the font is kissmekissmekissme!

A random piece of Keira Knightley. I tried something different on this blend.


I'm actually rather proud of this piece! It's for an add effects challenge at Flying High Blends.


This girl looks like she's from the Civil War times. Anyway, I think this colorization turned out fairly well.

^I agree with Kit. We're so envious we refuse to comment. j/k. I love your work! You know that! I just haven't found time lately for anything fun. So, here I go commenting on all of your new works on this page. It'll have to be quick though; I should be doing bio homework.

The first blend on this page: I love the texture of the entire piece. I also like the vibrancy of colors! It's spectacular. Nice font!

Keira blend: It does seem like something different for you. But, it's still breathtaking, which isn't different. I liked the contrast between the dark grungy background and keira looking pristine and that dress is dazling. You really brought out every crease and fold in that dress, so I love the sharpness of picture. The text is placed wonderfully, and overall, it's my favorite piece on this page.

Add Effects Challenge: I wish I could do stuff like that! I'm horrid at add effects challenges. I like the grey bits on the colorful background. And the flower is a cute touch. I love the texture. I love the text. I love the colors.

Colorization: It looks so real, yet so unflawed. It's quite surreal which is a really nice way to go with colorizations I think. The colors work well with the overall piece, and the background is nice since I think it gives you something to contrast the subject with. I like the text, and how you've got something behind it, but I can't see it too well (I'm tired, so my eyes aren't exactly cooperating).

I would go back to the last page and do this as well, but my eyes are starting to droop, and I gotta finish this hw!

To summarize, your work is always wonderful Limwen, so never think that people don't find your work spectacular even if nobody comments. But I love commenting on your work, so you can count on me!

The Keira Knightley blend has such a wicked grungy feel to it and I love how you placed the text. And I love what you did to the add effects challenge. The textures are all so perfect! I'm rubbish at using textures . I'm so jealous of that colourization! I can never make them look that good!
