| Post subject: | SilverRose vs. Altariel Frodo 2 - Aragorn and Eowyn |
Due to our tendency to make Aragorn/Eowyn graphics constantly anyway... SilverRose and I have decided to do an epic A/E music battle! Here are the songs we've decided to use:
[s]1. "The Beauty and the Tragedy" - Trading Yesterday 2. "Little Wonders"- Rob Thomas 3. "Almost Lover" - A Fine Frenzy 4. "Yours to Hold" - Skillet 5. "Never Be the Same" - Red 6. "The Thief" - Relient K 7. "Broken Road" - 12 Stones 8. "It's Not Over" - Daughtry 9. "Here Without You" - Three Doors Down 10. "Almost Here" - Delta Goodrem 11. "Let Me Love You" - Third Day 12. "Blind" - Lifehouse 13. "Run" - Snow Patrol 14. "What You Don't Know" - Monrose[/s] 15. "Missing" - Evanescence
We will be doing banners and blends again [unless you want something different, Rose]. Feel free to stalk, watch, and comment!

Everything sounds great!
::"The Beauty and the Tragedy" - Trading Yesterday:: I'm sorry this took so long. I started it last night, but then had to get off the computer. This song is one of the most gorgeous songs in all human existence. At least, I think so. It would fit well with almost any A/E scene, but I decided to use the Dream scene. It seems to be our favorite scene to work with, doesn't it?

That's absolutely beautiful - so soft and gentle. And yes, that's an amazing scene. ![]() I finally got mine done - I'll have to look at it on a few different computers to decide how I feel about it. ![]() ::The Beauty and the Tragedy, by Trading Yesterday::

Thanks, guys! I agree with Nurr, the light things is awesome. That picture off to the left is gorgeous!
::"Little Wonders"- Rob Thomas:: I don't think I really like this that much. I love this scene, but I've never liked anything I've made from it. I think it has something to do with the lighting.

I actually think the set is really pretty - I agree, that is a hard scene to work with. The lighting makes it really difficult to use any other color scheme than red, orange, and yellow. I'm sorry I don't have a new volley up yet; I have been drowning in homework (two quizzes, a test, a paper due, a speech... the list goes on). This weekend should be easier though, so I'll try to get one or two done then. |

Ergh. Double post. My next volley will be better, I promise! I got sick of messing with this one. It looks like something I would have made a year ago. Ah well... I guess we can both not like our volleys this time. ![]() ::Little Wonders, by Rob Thomas::

Thanks, Aramel! Tariel, I really really like it! I was thinking of using that scene too, but then I decided to use the Return to Edoras one.
::"Almost Lover" - A Fine Frenzy:: Again, I really don't like this, but I have no idea what else to do with it. Bla. I couldn't resist using a gorgeous manipulation from Elfsheen.net, but that's probably what messed me up since it has such different lighting from the other pictures.

I actually like it - it's soft and glowy. I'm terrible at making glowy things. My volley is done. It was another experimental one. ::Almost Lover, by A Fine Frenzy::

I love it! All of your experimental stuff always turns out great. And by the way, I think it looks glowy. And it looks amazing.
I was thinking that maybe we could use some of the manipulations from Elfsheen for one of our volleys. Here are some I think would be great to use: A/E kiss Wedding scene Eowyn sleeping on Aragorn's shoulder Aragorn and Eowyn Dream Edoras If you think it's a bad idea, just say so.

Thanks Esteleth! And Aramel, who I meant to thank in my last post. ![]() Ooh, that's a lovely volley Rose! The pictures from that scene are just too perfect to miss. ![]() I think it would be fun to do a volley with manipulations. I might even attempt making my own, depending...This next volley took me a very long time - well, relatively. Close to an hour. It's my favorite A/E song ever though... ::Yours to Hold, by Skillet::

haha I hope to keep you converted!
*stares at volley and falls over* That is gorgeous!! *squees* You are a mastermind of all things A/E.
I love to make manipulations; maybe we could turn that idea into a battle! ::”Never Be The Same”- RED:: I think this turned out ok. I’m not too happy with the color tint of it, but besides that I like it. I don’t think I did the song justice, though.

I don't think it's possible to do the song justice - I know I definitely tried hard enough without success. That said, I love your volley. I love the main picture of Eowyn you used - I haven't seen that used on a graphic in a while. I also like the picture of Aragorn in the lower right corner. It's a really good picture of him. ![]() With my volley... I made it on the weekend actually, and spent well over an hour on it. But I still wasn't happy with it at all. So today I went back in to the image (fortunately I'd saved a work in progress file with all the layers still separated out) and changed the coloring on it, and I like it at least a little bit more now. ::Never Be the Same, by Red::
