<center>Aramel and SilverRose present....
The Stock Photo Battle</center>

Aramel and I decided to do something a little different for our battle. We both love stock photos, and we decided to come up with certain words that we can illustrate with them. For five of the rounds we have to use a quote that pertains to the word of the round.

Rounds:

<center>[s]1. Bravery [/s]
[s]2. Clockwork [/s]
[s]3. Innocence
4. Depression [/s]
[s]5. Ethereal [/s]
6. Determination
7. Fragile
8. Tranquility
9. Radiance
10. Bloom</center>

Rules:
1. Each blend must be 700 by 500
2. You can use only stock photos; no movie screen captures allowed
3. For 5 rounds of your choice you must use a quote that pertains to the word, and you must credit the person who said the quote somewhere in the blend.
4. Have fun being creative! :)

THIS IS A BRILLIANT IDEA! I just... I love this idea for a battle! :notworthy: So very cool, guys!

and those blends are... just win! God bless our men who give their lives for us and for our freedoms! Excellent, ladies. Keep this up... I will be watching this battle, you can be sure of that. :P

Silver: You used Ambulance Shotgun! WOOT! *Cough* Ahem. That is beautiful, the pictures are blended so well together and the quote is perfect...

Ara: Wow! The grayscale is really nice, and the text is amazing.

I can't wait to see what's next.

I adore that quote, and the simpleness of the blend is so lovely. :-D Incredible job!

So, I had a quote all lined up to use, but when I put it into the blend, I couldn't read it. I didn't want to change the font so that you could read it, because it would ruin the rest of the blend. So this round will be one of those without a quote, even though it's there. :-P If anyone's interested, the quote says: "“Clocks slay time... time is dead as long as it is being clicked off by little wheels; only when the clock stops does time come to life.”

^it looks great, but yeah, the words are hard to read... nevertheless, it's nice. And I really should be working on a project right now, but I'm taking a tiny AU break... :eyeroll:

So. I just noticed how very very odd and hilarious the boy's head looks between her legs. It was completely unintentional, and I only noticed it when I uploaded it. When I did noticed the oddly placed head, I burst out laughing and was like, "It looks like it's coming out from her skirt!" :lol:

Out of curiosity, where do you two tend to get your stock pictures? I'm always looking for good ones, and can rarely find what I'm looking for...

^I use DeviantART most of the time, and occasionally Flickr has some great photos. ;-)
