I made this thread to show my art, but only the LotR-related ones, to you all. Sorry if this seems kind of straight-to-the-point, just I had about half a page typed, TWICE, and it kept deleting my post. Stupid phone. I'll probably edit this in the future, but my arm hurts from typing all day.
Oh, and since I don't have my computer anymore and my brother rarely lets me on his, I'll be posting most of this via iPhone, so sorry for any bad quality and my horrible photography skills.

Anyway, the only picture I currently have to post is this one of Eowyn. It's my first attempt at realism and I know it's far from perfect, but any comments, tips, or feedback in general would be appreciated.

eep Apolloette it's beautiful! her eyes are perfect and really expressive.
the only thing I would do would be to soften her lips a little bit, like with a kneaded eraser or something.

Nicely done, Apollo. I agree with Alanna about the eyes.

But maybe the biggest thing is proportions. I don't want to be a basher, but I want to give helpful critisism! For proportions, if you use a picture the size of the paper(which is what I do. I print out the picture in the size I want to draw it in. My parents aren't a big fan of all the ink I go through). Use your pencil as a kind of ruler to judge distances of things... like the corner of the eye to the edge of the face... the hair line to the tip of the nose, the bottom of the shin to the base of the neck, ect, and putting dots at those points where they would be, and it'll help with your proportions. Be warned it's very time consuming, and takes alot of practice to master, but it comes with a wonderful end product. And if that fails, try gridding!
