Post subject:  Lhun's graphics

Many, many years ago I tried my hand on graphics using Paint and a tiny free program called 2Pic. Although I had fun, the results were nothing compared to the things the skilled graphic makers produced. So when I got my hands on a trial version of Photoshop, I decided to give it another try and here are the results! Adding texts, position and fonts are still major problems, so if you have any advice on that please share! Any other comments or remarks are also very welcome :)

Thanks guys  The Thranduil one was actually one of the banners that gave me a huge headache while blending, so thanks for your lovely comments on that one!

I really like what you did with the Marauder's Map and Frodo ones! The blending for the Marauder's is fantastic (and I'm a sucker for maps).

Why have I not seen these before! I love your work Lhuna, especially the storybook / vintage feel your banners have. My favourite is the Frodo one, I love how the images show his character development. I love the Mirkwood one too, so shiny! And the text is great :)

Thanks! I only realised my banners all have the same storybook-ish feel after you pointed it out  And I tried to keep the Mirkwood banner from becoming too muddled after blending, so I'm glad to hear that :)

And here's some new work! Inspired by various sources, as you can see :)

Disney's "Frozen"

Image
"the Hobbit", obviously.

BBC's "the Musketeers"

Two versions of the same image. I was playing around with the colouring a bit, and couldn't decide which one I liked best.

These two are part of the new project I set for myself: to make character/actor banners for every character in the Hobbit movies :)

I really like the one in the first post, with Legolas. That really is a difficult scene to capture.

All of them are amazing, but that one is my favourite.
