Here are the first banners I made (even though they are not very good) 
Okay this isn't a banner, but I made it when I was bored so I'll just post it: 
If anyone uses Paint Shop Pro 9 and knows how to fade images and work with special effects (like adding sparkles and flowers) I will be very thankful for the tips

I DID use it until Jasc took away my free trial 20 days early, so...I forget. They're quite good for a beginner, though! |

i use paint shop pro 9......can i ask how did u get the sun effect with it? |

Oh, i remeber you go to where you select effects, then to Illumination>>Sunburst. |

Wow, those are great, especially for first banners! My only suggestion would be to keep the text color consistent with the banner colors. For instance, on the Legsie one, maybe make the text a blueish tone, and on the Frodo/Sam one, maybe make the text an orange-yellow tone. Good job though! |

I downloaded both files, but it said that the flowers file was either invalid or corrupted and for some reason my computer will not allow me to open any of the geometric brushes...possibly because I don't have the program- so I can't use either of them. Thanks for the info though. Does anyone know how to download brushes and images into the "picture tube tool" in PSP 9? |

Those are excellent! But the text color should match more with the background - they stand out way too much and look out of place. Otherwise, it's terrific!

Thanks for the comments. I will probably change the color of the text on my other banners later on so that it matches more.

Ooooh, I think they're really really good
I like the font used in the banners but my favourite is the Legolas blend thing. I like the way you'v made the light. |

they are nice......the 2 animated banners in my sig are NOT made by me....they are all ones i have had requested and i think they were made on Photo Shop because those brushes off those sites can not be used because they are made for PS and not PSP! Anyway thanks for the light effect!!! Isty |
