I need help making a banner in PSP8. I can't make sence of any of it! just for making stuff like I have in my signature. with it like cut out of one part for one pic, then placed over a different picture. You know what I mean? |

Okay, first, open up the two images-you backround one and your foreground one. Then, click on the selection tool and select "Freeform". Draw a line around your foreground image. Up at the top there should be a box that says "Feather"-set that how much you want your images faded (0 would not be faded at all, more fading as you go up). 20 px i a good setting. Make sure the Anti-alias box is checked- this will smooth all of the rough edges. After you've drawn your line around the image you want for the foreground, press Ctrl+C. Open up your backround image and press Ctrl+V. Click on the foreground image and move it where you want. Then do whatever else you want to the banner. |
