I've made some avatars for my sig, and rather than taking up sig space with all the different URL's, I've put them together as a banner. But I've added spaces between each avatar and I really would like the banner to have these spaces showing up as transparent on AU. I've never been able to figure this out so if anyone could help me, 'twould be great! ![]() |

Hmmmm...I'm pretty sure to do this, you should open up a new image in Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro, and set it so that there is a transparent background. Then past your avatars onto the image, and when you save it, save it as a .gif and the transparency will stay! ![]() ![]() I hope that helps! |

Thanks for that Gil. But I already have my images as a transparent background and I always save as PNG. ![]() |

Yeah, I used the optimizer but you can still see dark patches round the avatars. It's better than nothing though I suppose. ![]() |

Do you use Internet Explorer? It's because of that, Firefox has it all smoothened out. (there's some javascript available that fixes the IE problem but it's gone, rawr) |
