Post subject:  Banner turning green?

Whenever I put one of my banners into the animation file, it always turns it green. It's a GIF, so I assume that has something to do with the problem. I've tried saving it out of the animation as a GIF, and then putting it in, but it still makes it green in the animation, but not in the GIF file with only that banner.

Here is the banner as it should look:

Here is the banner in the animation. (It's the last one.):

If any one knows how to fix this, I would appreciate it. :)

Hmm... that's strange. Is isn't green when you save it as a GIF by itself?

Huh. Well, the GIF format can only save images using a very limited number of colors, so maybe that shade of green is the closest it can get to the color that part of the banner's supposed to be? And when you save it as animation, the resolution gets even more degraded?

That probably didn't really help you much, sorry. But it's all I can think of right now :P

I figured it was something like that, I just wish I knew a way to fix it. Because it just doesn't look as good green.... :-D

Hmm....I see what you mean. Sometimes banners, when they are animated, can turn really weird. Sometimes colours can change slightly, and sometimes pictures can get really pixelated or blurry. This in my experience, is usually because of certain brushes, textures, lighting even that is used, and they just tend to get messed up when they are GIF's.

I don't think there is much you can do about it to be honest. I actually like it with the green tinge. :-)

Could you try saving it as any other type of file? I've only saved animations as .gifs before, but maybe there is a different file type that would work...? =/

The only way I know to save the animation is .GIF. The program I'm using doesn't save it any other way.
