Does anyone know how to animate banners and avvies with GIMP? Anyone, i've tried looking at tutorials on the internet, but none of them worked. |

Its very simple, but they tend to lose a bit of their quality when you do it, so beware! 1. Lay out the banners you want to animate on separate layers on top of one another. Make sure the bottom banner is merged to the background layer, or you'll get a white slide. 2. Save as a GIF image 3. On the export file window, tick the box that says "Save as animation" and press "Export" 4. Check the "Interlace" and "Loop forever" boxes. 5. If animating a banner, change the number to 3000. If you're doing an animated movie clip avvie, like my current one, leave it at 100. Then press OK and voila! Does that help? |
