I guess I would put the picture I want to move on it's own layer in paint shop and save the whole image multiple times, moving just the one layer every time. Hope that makes sense, I can be more specific if you need me to be.

okay, first create that backgroudn image (that is, everything but the image you want to be movign around. Save that image as .JPEG. Close and then open it. Now in your layers section, right-click and make a New Rastor Layer. On the new layer add the image you want animated.

What you have to do now is with your Move tool, move the image slightly in whatever direction you want it to go, makign sure to save as an new image after every time. Then you'll go to animation shop and with Animation Wizard, open all the images you created in Paint Shop Pro.

well...lol...never thought of just making a new layer and moving the image each time...geeze could have save some time.

Next question, Is there a way to keep the moving image in a straight line so it does not look like its jumping around the background when it is fully animated?

Thanks

I have that same problem sometimes, and I haven't found an easy way to get around that. The x and y might help though. (x and y can be found at the bottom right of you PSP area)

^ I believe the PS equivalent of Animation Shop is the Image Ready.
