Okay, I think the best way of taking it would be this:

Could someone please explain brushes to me (I've got psp 7) from scratch, as if I know absolutely nothing?
Currently, I know next to nothing, and am confused. A what brushes are, how they work, and how you use them would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I decided this might be quicker than trial and error... and less painful.

I'll try to help, I have PSP 9. Just give me a sec to type it all down. :)

Edit:

Okay. Brushes are things you use to embelish your graphics. I'm not sure exactly what capabilities PSP 7 has, but you will probably use brushes in accordance with effects like Burn, Dodge, Overlay, ect to create a cooler look. If you check out my sig (my pink Eowyn banner), the swirls on the side and the rose were both created with brushes.

First off you need to get some brushes. Try googling for them, you'll probably be able to find quite a few that way. Save them onto your computer and transfer the brush to the Brushes folder in Jasc Pain Shop Pro (wherever that is on your computer). It should automaticly register your brushes are there under your brushes tool, but if not you'll have to import them.

Do have that so far? I don't want to give too much info and totally lose you. :)

I'm not sure where it will be specificly in yours, but mine is on the right side with all the other tools. It should be a picture of a little brush.

I think that it´s the Paint Brush ... Not sure tho. :confuzzled:
I got my brushes (well ... they´re not here on my comp so don´t expect me to be a huge-graphic maker :)) from A-U.com; http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/brushes.html To be honest, I don´t know how to paint or resize them but it was pure fun to play with them! :P
