What is a good, reliable graphic/banner making program? I'm thinking of getting one sometime soon, and I'd like your opinions. Also if you could include the price, that would help

Well, there are the expensive proggies, and the proggies that can be downloaded free from the net... Gimp is one of those, and it´s really awesome - it´s priceless literally.
The best progs you have to pay for are Photoshop [PS] and Paint Shop Pro [PSP].I´ve used both, they´re awesome. PSP is much cheaper than PS, but it has less stuff to play around with. PS is really expensive, yet I found it very easy, thanks to our awesome Oro!
Well, if you can afford it, buy photoshop, it rocks.
For the prices:
http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/main.html > Photoshop CS2 [that's what I have]
http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite? ... 7025487586 > Corel paint Shop Pro X [I have version 9, but <3]

Try surfing the web to find a lower price, tho. (:

Erm, hope you understand me..

There's also another good FREE program that not a lot of people know about ;) It's called Serif Photo Plus 6. I used to use it, and it's very nifty :) PS and PSP are still better, though (I have both), but if you can't afford them, I recommend Photo Plus :) You can find that here: http://freeserifsoftware.com

^ I think I have that too... no wait I don´t :P

Some other free stuff:
Paint.net
PhotoFiltre

And try Photoshop Elements, they´re waaaay cheaper than PS itself> my friend has them, but he´s not much interested in them...
