"I'm so relieved and happy," said Urbanski. "I can't put my mind in the place of the producers, but I would've thought that when they read the book, a call to us would've been very high on their list. Obviously, the character of Sirius Black is key."
Oldman's manager mentioned Oldman had been offered several different film roles in the time it took Warner Bros. to make a decision on the part of Harry's godfather.
Both Gary and manager are delighted with the highly anticipated outcome: "It's a wonderful role. Gary read the script last night, and he read part of it to me on the phone this morning. The end of the story is: Gary's in it. It's a terrific script, and he's so happy to be back." yay! Finally! ;P
Yay!!!!! Finally WB!

They're supposed to be 33, and Gary's almost 50. I also don't like Thewlis' voice! It really gets on my nerves. And how he puts his hands in his pockets all the time really annoys me, too. Don't get me wrong, Gary lovers, I think he's a good actor(I love him in The Scarlet Letter!), but I don't think he's right for the role of Sirius. At the end he seems too calm and mature, when in many ways Sirius hasn't grown up yet.
Has anyone here noticed that when Harry and Sirius are by the lake, Sirius suddenly wakes up and starts screaming when he sees the dementors, but in the next shot, Sirius is unconscious(sp?) again? I know what you mean, I didn't really, and don't quite totally like Gary as Sirius, but I think by far he's proven to be excellent at the role, so I want him back. And anyway the fifth movie would seem weird with an actor change.. like the third with Gambon.. HURRAY!! Gary's in!! Kitoky wrote: The Hippogriff song at Christmas. Hah, not the song again Kit!

Okay, what is it with this Hippogriff song?!? All it said was that Sirius sang the song, but it didn't give us the lyrics, it just gave the title. But, honestly, I'm having a hard time picturing Gary Oldman singing a Christmas song.
I'm also very doubtful that that song will be in the movie at all.

About the Hippogriff song ---- if there's a seperate scene for the Hippogriff Christmas song, it would only be 10 seconds, tops. It'd be very short. It can easily be put into another bigger scene.
Lol, I'll take ideas for the Remus one --- but Remus wasn't in GoF.
