hey!
i HAVE and wooden bow and arrow, i made them myself in school. (on woodwork lessons). i havent really got to practise yet, cause its really dangerous on this city area, cause the arrows are sharp and the bow can shoot something like 70 meters...but i'll take it to our summer cottage and i can practise there, there's no one around cause its on an island...

ooh how awesome!! 70 metres is pretty good for a hand made bow  it depends on where you live tho, cos here in Canada, we're allowed to shoot, so long as we're enclosed in our own backyard.
