I swear that's what it was like. I was hyperventilating and near tears. *shakes fist @ the tabloids*
Let's add the HBO execs responsible for the cancellation of Carnivale into the Dungeon of Doom. How dare they take Clancy Brown off tv!

Was the new Sarah Jane thingy any good? I was admittedly still asleep at the time and didn't get a chance to see it?
I can't believe Torchwood is over tonight...

Clancy...*sigh* I've crushed on him since I he was Kurgan in Highlander.
But *ahem* back on topic.
I didn't watch the new Sarah-Jane thingy. To be honest I forgot all about it till you mentioned it. I'll not see Torchwood tonight either..I have to wait till the repeat tomorrow night.

I'd like to join.
And opinions on the new side kick? (I haven't seen any new eps btw they're not on yet -_-'') Are you sad that Rose has gone or are you glad? (sorry if this has been discussed before)

Also Kess, I really love your siggy quote. "I have the moral highground!" That cracks me up every time.
welcome, Peredhil Lover. Another member. That is, if Kess lets you in. She's very strick and scary, not to mention all those rituals she makes you go through.....Of course, I'm joking. Yes, I was sad to see Rose go, but even sadder to see The Doctor so sad. When he cried... They were silent tears, so adorable. I really want to hug him.

I just downloaded Runaway Bride! It's awesome! I'm a bit behind with all the episodes or Torchwood.... comes from living outside the UK. But I've read the spoilers for the final 2 episodes... it is so not fair that we have to wait until half way through the Dr Who season to see Jack again.
Does anyone know when the new Dr Who season starts, btw?

I've looked it up, but I can't seem to find anything official from the BBC website. Soon, I hope
*cannot comment on Jack without spoilerificness for finale*
Torchwood fans- be ready to burst into tears and shout excessivley at the TV ...

Hey cool, thanks for letting me in I didn't just want to say 'I'll join' then not contribute you know?
Another question... do you guys prefer Torchwood or Doctor Who?
I personally prefer Doctor Who, firstly because I prefer the actors - never really liked the guy in the first series compared to DT and then Billie Piper was really good which is why I'm worried about the new side kick. I suppose it appealled to the 8 year old boy in side me as well as the romantic little girl lol
And well Torchwood came of CSI-ish to me and I really don't like CSI I prefer Wire in the Blood and things like that. Then again I didn't watch more than one episode. It's aimed at elder audiences and I'm not saying it was too dark for me I just liked the whimsy with which David Tennant portrayed the Doctor.

Welcome to the Club Peredhil Lover. Always good to meet fellow Who fans.
I don't think I prefer one over the other as there both very different types of shows. I like them both for what they are.
Doctor Who appeals to my inner child. Torchwood appeals to my (more prevalent) dark side.

I dunno, its tricky. I'm a bit like Phoenix, I like the lovley quirkness of Doctor Who, but I do love a bit of dark gloomy angst. I don't know if I could honestly decide.
Quote: Wire in the Blood and things like that
I'm completly obsessive about that show, I have all the books and DVDs and everything Tony Hill is one of the best characters ever created! *goes into squee mode*

Dr Who, becuase I just. love. David. Tennant I like the storylines in Torchwood more, mainly becuase they aren't so kid-ish, but David is just so awesome as the Doctor. As usual, my Fangirl side prevails.

EEEk!!!!!!
They're oh so beautiful! Yay!!! So fun!
So, I have to say I prefer Dr. Who over Torchwood...but that's because I'm a bit biased. Biased in the fact that I've never seen Torchwood. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...
