^I would ask him who is favourite character was, and why.
I know that's kind of lame, but I'm always interested to know what the author likes about there story.

Suilaid, mellyn nin. I would like to join this club. I only have LotR trilogy (out of all the books he's written, or have been written of him and his works)  And I haven't read much of them as I am doing literature courses at university and reading their books is a requirement - so reading has become less of a pleasure and more of a chore. *sigh* Hopefully this doesn't bar me from joining, tho... *hopefully*  _________________ ~*Since the invention of the kiss, there have been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure... I am terribly sorry everyone, but forums just aren't important to me anymore, so I will soon be deleting my account. So what shall be done about the club? Well, the first person who sends me a private message shall reopen the club on a different thread. I 'm not sure if you need to check with a moderator first, but you might as well, just to be safe. I think that this is the best method to reopen the club, to avoid confusion, and I will notify everyone as soon as I get the first Private message. Please make your subject clear, if you do want to pm me. I'm very sorry, but, like I previously stated, I find no amusement in forums anymore.
Don't forget to transfer the banner to the new club.

Hmmm... good question. I admire him for a lot of reasons, but one major one is that he created such a complex world through both LotR and books like The Silmarillion and beyond, and he's just an extremely gifted writer.
