I had no idea bathrooms were such a luxury! 
Anyway, I can see why men would feel they don't need to do the housework. It goes back to that age long traditon of women bearing the children and running the house. Guys don't like change most of the time, so I can see why it'd be hard for them to share the load sometimes.

We have 5 bathrooms, but only ever use 4 - the master bedroom has one, so does the other big bedroom, then we have the main upstairs one and the main downstairs one.
The fifth we use for storage.

We have two guys, and four girls.
My older sister (thankfully) has her own bathroom.. and some days she spends FOREVER in there.
I hardly use it, in and out for a shower in 20 minutes, most of the time 15.
And my younger siblings don't spend long at all in the bathroom, not that I'd care anyways.

Wow.. bathrooms are such a luxury nowadays. By the way, is it true for you American members that the toilet is part of the bathroom? Over here all our toilets are in separate rooms..

Really? I know in other parts of Europe it's common to have the toilet separate, but whenever I go to the US the toilet is always part of the bathroom.

That's really, really interesting. I mean, if you've ever been to France and such you'll know that there is a big difference between les toilette et la salle de bain. Just wondered really...

We have three bathrooms...
baseground: toilet + bathroom in one room
1st floor: toilet + bathroom in one room
2nd floor: separated
Yeah, we're weird like that

In Norway we do both. I mean, separate toilet and ...not separate. Both at home and where I live now their in the same room.
@Larael: French toilets are icky! The whole a-hole-in-the-ground thingy freaks me out *shudders*
