Oh, do I know the feeling! Two years ago, I was pretty good friends with this one guy. He was the type that all girls seem to like, even though he looks kinda weird. lol. We had tons to talk about, and of course, getting that close to him meant that I eventually got a horrible crush on him. One fine day, I hinted that I liked him....and he showed no interest at all or was too stupid to realize. Anyway, it took me a long, hard year to get over him. Now, I'm fairly indifferent. We still say a few words occasionally, but we aren't really friends anymore. Note to self: don't tell a guy you like them unless you're sure they like you back.

I've never had the courage to tell (or hint at) a guy that I like him...I guess I'm scared that if he doesn't like me, but he knows I like him, that I could loose what friendship we do have at the moment. I guess, I'm content to stay wondering if he likes me, and just being friends with him...for now.

Well... this would bring up a pathetic love story that would be mine... It's kinda short, and will answer the question.

There was this boy in my church. We were friends from the start(well... I was friends with all the people around my age from the start, so nothing special). But... *counts on fingures* Around 3 years ago, I realized I liked him more than just a friend. I had a small teenage crush on him the grew a little. But I kept quiet about it. No one but me knew about it. Then, A year, and three months ago, I moves. To a different state. And, the night before I moved I went to the church for the last time. And before I left I told him I had a crush on him. I was so scared I turned red-faced and split as soon as I told him. And haven't heard from him since...

After about a year and a half of crushing on this boy, it couldn't help but be hard to keep it hush and not want to be more than just friends. And the sad thing is now... I don't know if I still like him or not. I think about him now and then, but I'm not sure... I know if I see him or talk to him again I'd know. Not like thats going to happen soon...

Hmm...I wouldn't know. It's the other way around for me. Early this year I've started developing a crush on a guy that I have been friends with for a couple of years.

*huggles* Thanks! I already feel all comfy here. heehee I always seem to like someone. Not a serious I-love-you-so-much-I'd-die-for-you sorta thing, but the kind where they walk into the room and your heart jumps about 60 feet. And...no one has ever liked me back. Honestly, I don't think I'd go out with them if they did, because I always seem to like all the idiots for some reason. lol But still, it hurts to seem them go out with other people, when I haven't ever had a guy like me....at least, that I know of. I've only had one broken heart, and that was pretty bad, so I guess I'm ok with staying single for now. It's pretty fun to watch all the drama from a distance and not get burned. heehee

I've never known of a guy who like me. Probably because I'm so tomboy and fiery(comes with the red hair, I guess). Though my friend thinks this one guy likes me, but I don't think so. I'd prefer to stay as far away from drama as possible. I like the action, not the drama.

I know nothing about getting a guy to like me. Me=no experience. lol I'm pretty quiet around guys and have very very few guy friends, so that's probably why no guy has ever liked me. I just don't feel very comfortable around the guys at my school. I've never understood how some girls can be so flirty and hang out with guys like that. It's just not...me. *sighs* Btw, Eru, I find it interesting how my name's SilverRose, and your status is Silver Rose. I knew nothing about your status when I picked my name, either.

Hello everyone! Man, I haven't come in here in ages. *dusts off former seat* Ahh. Boy talk. I have to admit, I miss it. My "girl talk" friend is off at basic now while I'm at college, so it's nice to have this.



Haha, I know exactly how that is. College is an awful place for crushing on guys. I swear, I've seen more cute guys in my three (?) weeks here than I've seen in my entire life. And of course I meet these sweet guys in the Christian groups or the smart guys in the honors class and they're so cute and I just have a little "aiee!" every time I see them.

At any rate, I've never had a boyfriend or a guy interested in me (well, that I know of). I got the courage once to tell one crush how I felt....stupidly, I did it on a bus trip so we were stuck together for another two hours. I'm so glad other people were on the bus. Ah, Silver, that's totally me. Flirty= But it's funny because I am comfortable around guys. Out of all the people I've met at school so far, I've talked to and hung out with guys the most. Maybe that's part of the problem...

I've got tons of friends who are guys. Probably for the reason that I see guys as friends, not crushes or 'oh he's cute' or that kind stuff and I'm so tomboy and am so sportsy and so into video games and guns and stuff that I'm concidered one of the guys(I mean, when you wup a guys but at Battlefront, they're bound to respect, if not resent, you, lol). But, one way you can get a guy to notice you is just casually going up and saying hi ranomly. Get into casual conversations. Not flirting conversations, casual ones. And not small talk later. Ask them favorite sports, or games and stuff. Ask them questions that would seem normal to ask. You can find something in common that way, and dwell on the topic a little. I've done this a couple of times and that's really how I got my guy friends. When you talk to them, think of them as a 'friend' not a 'crush'. It helps the wobbly legs. But... with some cases this might not work... But it's worth a try.

If that doesn't work on getting a guy to notice you exist, try walking up to the guy and slugging him yelling 'I exist!'. No, not really, just kidding! If you do that, they'd probably think you're weird and try to avoid you.

Yeah, I've never been flirty like that either, Silver...just not my style. I am comfortable around guys though (like you Nurr ), so it's more of just a friends basis...not a potential to like - at least on their part... I guess I don't mind it too much, but when I see some of my friends that are girls going through boyfriends every week, it's like what the haybale?! They get all these guys begging them to go out with 'em...couldn't I have just one?!

I like the name connection, Silver and Eru.

Aye, in general I'm fine with being single. You don't have to worry about anything. But sometimes it'd just be nice, you know? And yes, trying to think of them as just friends is a very helpful way for starting conversations and stuff.
