We always get together with my mom's whole side of the family, so it's a lot of people. I hope I can eat by then.

My mom's side is a big family as well. She's one out of eight so yeah, a lot of people but we haven't had big gatherings like that in years, since most of the family lives in Flordia and only few of us still dwell in our birth state of Massachusetts.

My family goes to my grandparent's house.

My mom, brother and I, my aunt and uncle, my step-grandmother's two daughters and their husbands, my dad's parents... and my mom's dad and step-mother.

We have lots of good food, and then we watch the Cowboys game, and then we sit around and laze after eating a big meal, and then later we have leftovers for supper.

Thanksgiving is gonna be pretty big for us this year. Generally we just stay home and have a nice quiet day, but this year my aunt, uncle, and my uncle's family are coming over which, of course, has provoked a huge cleaning spree...everything's fair game...
Then of course the day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday which I'll definitely be going out for.

BestBuy at 6am, here we come!

Pada, you are INSANE. I'm not a huge fan of shopping on a normal day, so Friday is just a nightmare. I stay nice and safe and uncrowded in my house and watch Muppet Christmas Carol. That's been my tradition for years. Let us know how that goes, unless you get stampeded at the door.

Everyone out of my way! *wields shopping cart as a weapon* I will be the first, I tell you! The first!

I guess I am a bit odd. For some reason I really enjoy going out shopping and if I can do it at odd times, all the better! Take this past week for instance...we're remodeling out bathroom you see, and as such we've practically lived in Wal-Mart. (getting supplies, trying to match colors, finding accents)
Times we left the store? 2am, 1am, midnight...
I loved it.

Well, maybe being so tired isn't quite worth it, but I do enjoy shopping when it's late. Can't quite explain it....
