Ha ha ha! No problem!
Oh! My mom was going on a diet, and what she did was get a mug (as big as your fist, because your fist is as big as your stomach) and fill it up with whatever you want (chocolate cake, pumpkin pie - anything!)! But ONLY eat when you're hungry! If you think you're hungry, but really aren't, just chew a piece of gum.
(Hint: When your stomach starts to growl, you're hungry!)
Hope that helps! (the diet really does work! There's this thing going on at my church [a Light Weigh club] and the ladies get together every Friday, what they do at the meetings, I don't know. XD

Geez, diets. I hate how people think I'm on a diet and then tell me I don't need to diet. No shi*t sherlock! I'm 5'3" and weight less than 110lbs, of course I don't need to friggin' diet! I just usually prefer to eat healthy and stare clear from junky, fatty foods and exercise regularly. I do indulge sometimes, yes we all do. Plus, I'm hypoglycemic, (low blood sugar, diabetes runs in my family) so I need to eat healthier food and exercise regularly. A healthy lifestyle keeps me healthy and keeps my blood sugar from dropping.

XD I would do that, but because of my strange illness I have what my doctor calls "increased appetite" and I literally cannot go for than 3 hours without getting hunger pangs, sometimes they are so severe it feels like I haven't eaten for a week. So all the weight I lost last year through calorie control, sensible eating and dieting, I put back on not only by my eating more, but I'll admit, in my misery I ate lots of chocolates and cakes to make me feel better about eating more. Which I wish I hadn't done now as I'm paying for it by working off all the weight I've gained.
But still I've lost over 8 pounds, which is less than I wanted to lose, but at least I'm not putting weight on and I'm never going to allow myself to get to my previous weight again (although this years weight gain was not really my fault, just plain back luck after all my hard work losing 22 pounds last year).
^ My doctor said I might possible be hypoglycemic, it's one of the things he is checking for as he said that can cause increased appetite. It all sounds a bit scary, especially as I've been like this for a year, but hopefully in 2 weeks I'll know what's wrong with me, or at worst, stuff can be ruled out.

Whoa, HH! That sounds bad! Maybe try chewing a piece of gum whenever you think you're hungry! Maybe that'll help...
Aw! That would be awful! I hope everything turns out alright!!!

So we cooked the pumpkin pie today... it's actually been in the oven for nearly two hours now, and although it is quite firm to the touch, you can see it's still juicy inside... we measured the correct amount of everything, and we even drained the pumpkin more than once.... is it meant to be that consistency?

As much as it pains me to say it, and it took me a while to admit to myself that I couldn't stomach one more mouthful, it really wasn't for me. It had the consistency of an egg custard and the spices of an egg custard, which is something I don't like to eat. Maybe when I get to America and have one baked by someone who knows what it should look/smell/taste like, I might enjoy it more.
I feel like a failed USA fanatic. *sobs*

Aw! It's okay! You haven't failed! There are some Americans who don't like pumpkin pie! My brother's one of them... I think. Guess what!!! Guess what!!! EEP! My dad's massage therapist lady (I think that's what they're called) she said that one of her patients is the manager of a theater NEAR US!!! She said he takes people of all ages and that she's try to get us tickets to one of his plays (for free) and that he has connections!!! I hope this all works out! And, you know, if Elijah Wood is one of his connections, I'm going to die!!! (I want to be an actress, in case you didn't know...)

The failed American thing though, I think I fail to a certain degree when it comes to favorites of American food and I'm the American I don't eat burgers or hot dogs (not until they're turkey) and I don't eat peanut butter unless it's in a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup

Yeeeah. I'm not a very good American when it comes to food either. Most of it is too fatty, or really gross. But I'll eat nearly anything. I like burgers but am not a big fan of hot dogs. I mean, I'll eat them if I have to but I'll take a burger any day. Oooo! I LOVE Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!
