Yay! I'm not the only one! Oh! I love the medieval style clothing! Pity people don't wear things like that today. Oh! Oh! Guess what! France is trying to ban prostitution! :D Heh heh. Random facts of the day!

I love medeival-style clothing, and clothing of the 40s and 50s. I was watching White Christmas last night and practically drooling over all of the gorgeous costumes. For a play once, my costume (we were responsible for getting our own as we didn't have a proper costumer) was a blue velvet dress my grandmother had worn in the 50s, it had the hourglass waist and everything! For everyday wear, though, you can usually find me in jeans, knit sweaters, and the like. I'm more for comfort rather than style most days!

Oh, that sounds gorgeous!!! And high five to you! I'm for comfort rather than style most of the time too!

I like to mix the style and comfort by layering my clothes, I still have the 40s flair, with alot of warmth. But I have alot of fun planning outfits for special occasions.

Oh! I love layers!!! Do you sew? I've made a few costumes for Halloween. Here's a few pics of this year's costume:

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-E54W ... 520168.JPG
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-eqlV ... 520167.JPG

It would have been better if I had help... the sleeves were really cruddy and I had just finished it on Halloween and hadn't put it on till that night! I'm glad it worked, but I felt like it was really showy up top, and kept pulling it up or holding the cloth there. It was really awkward! I had a dog start to chase the "train"! Ha ha ha!

I'm learning how to sew, but I can't sew clothing. I can't wait to get more medieval dresses, and hopefully some LOTR costume dresses.

Okay! Sewing is fun, but very time-consuming and nerve wracking! For me anyway! Oooo! That would be fun!!!

I personally like to knit, and read. Though with school some times makes it hard to do either.

I know what you mean! It's so hard to fit in all that you want to do when school/work/events get in the way. But now, I'm on full break (wait. No, I don't get a break from life... I get a break from school. That's it.) and can do most of what I want...

Yep, I have 5 weeks off of school before the spring semester kicks in. Which I am very excited about, new classes, more challenges, so much to look forward too.

Yeah, breaks in college generally last longer, because some people are coming from across the country to go to school and haven't been home all semester and stuff. I only have three weeks though. XD

I know the basics of sewing, but I found this tutorial on how to make big t-shirts fit better. I am definitely going to try it soon on a couple of shirts that are too big for me. :)

Yea, I love my school. My teachers are very good, too. I sew blankets, tichels and bags, but I'm still learning.

Ari: I've got three weeks off too. I think we should get more off... oh well! That's life! ^^

Erucenindë: Oh! Oh! Could you send me the link please??? Most of my t-shirts are large...

Mirelena: That's great! Most kids don't like to study. I do... depending on what it's on and how it's taught. Sewing's fun! :D
