Hello my fellow evil Nazgul friends. Just checking in. Sorry I have not been here all week but as well as decorating the house our garden has been flooded, thanks to a punctured water pipe lying under our patio, and I've not really been in the mood this week. Our shed at the bottom of the garden has been under 6 inches of water, the garden itself was (and is) a mess....think of the Midgewater Marshes and your getting close...my dad has been working away for the week so he wasn't happy at not being at home when all this happened. My mum was been worried that all the water (and where talking of hundreds of gallons) would seep into other people's gardens and houses and would cause major damage at our expense. We have been digging holes and trenches, trying to divert the water from the bottom of the garden, so not only is it like a bog it's all like a bomb disposal squad has been in training. My parents have been phoning all week trying to get some help and finally on Thursday a plumber arrived to fix it and he finished the job yesterday. We have a massive hole in our patio where the plumber had to find the pipe, so my dad has to fill it in. The water has now drained into the ground, but the garden is really treacherous as it's all slippy and muddy. I can't believe our garden, after all the years of work we have out in is ruined.
