we did a month on graphs, linear equations, point-slope, and that [s]stupid...[/s] [cough] fun stuff. when we finished with the unit and went back to number lines (don't ask), none of us knew what a number line was.

we knew, just not on first impulse. our minds went blank at the thought of a number line but we remembered eventually.... and whenever someone says "graph" our class starts groaning thinking about gridlines and slopes.

That's the same thing with my class LDM, we couldn't remember anything from last year...

But my Geometry book, its the weirdest thing, it says for Enjoyment & Challenge, and I finally figured out what the enjoyment was, the little sparkly squares on the cover!

On a side subject, nice banners LDM!

I won’t complain about math because I’m good at math (depite it’s uslessness). But Science? Let me put it this way. If I had to write last year’s exam I would without a doubt fail it. Memorisation does not equal learning.

That would be great. Actually I can’t even remember what that is, grade 8 was too long ago. Get this, I got 100% on my science exam in grade 8. I couldn’t tell you what was on it. Something about lenses and cells

I failed my Science test on finding wavelength and stuff like htat.

Know why?

I didn't even take it.

I couldn't use a pen, no one had a pencil I could borrow, my pencil was broken, and our pencil sharpener was broken too, I didn't have nay in my locker, and teh extra I brought was borrowed and never returned.

So I just sat there, looking like an idiot, while everyone else took the test.
