Girls I just saw PotC2 yesterday. It was soooooooooo good!!! i loved it! I really liked how they brought Will's father into the story and how much emotion Bill had for Will and i just liked the whole thing. it was soo good

I too really liked how they brought Bill Turner into the story. It gives it a bittersweet touch that I liked a lot, and didn't make it seem too... ehm, cheesy I guess. Nicely done on both parts I'd say. Alright I think I've snivelled enough now.

second time i saw it, i cried a LOT in the parts with Will and Bootstrap...

Oh I am very emotional, i get right into the movie and lost into that world as soon as the credits start... i actually squirmed and felt Will's pain when his father struck him.... i am a sucker for tear jerker movies.

when Bootstrap was striking Will, i felt a TON of pain for Will, but more for Bootstrap. to finally be reunited with your son and then have to whip him? i could never imagine having to do that. my heart goes out to Bootstrap a little more then it does for Will.

Yeah, same here. And then mean ol' Will doesn't even appreciate the fact his dad had to that to him to stop someone much worse doing it to him. That's ungrateful. He's been moaniong for ages about not seeing his dad and when he does he rejects him.

EXACTLY!!!!

Will should have been more greatful, and if i really WAS Bootstrap, i would NOT have helped him later knowing i would get it later on. i would have just let him work it out for him self the ungreatful child...

but i do think that Will understand it in the end. and the reason Bootstrap DIDN'T do what i just said is : Will is his son no matter how Will treats him, and fathers will do anything for their children.
