Yes, he understood in the end, but if hadn't been so stupid he could have spent more time wih his dad and got to know him more.

Stellan Skarsgård did a wonderful job as Boostrap Bill. Did anyone know he was from Sweden? His name kind of gave me the idea, but I had no idea until I did a search from him on IMDB.com.
Anyway, I think he played the part wonderfully, and I can't wait to see more of him in AWE.

Yes, he was very good as Bootstrap. I hope we see more of him in the next film.

Mhmm!! I'm really nervous about it all because Johnny Depp [as Jack Sparrow] seems to carry the movie more than the other characters, and with him gone I'm afraid it's going to be a total dud. Hopefully it won't be, because the other actors truly are really good.

^ Yeah, I know what you mean. But after saving Jack the film will be devoted to saving Bootstrap and making sure Lord whats-his-name doesn't get to control Jones. So there are plenty of plot lines to keep the film going, hence I don't think Jack is going to be rescued in the last ten minutes, more like the first half hour.

Too true, too true JF. I completely forgot about that in all my worries. To save Boostrap wouldn't they have to deal with Lord Cutler something-or-other to get the heart of Davy Jones first. 'Twould work better that way.
