I can't wait, regardless of the half nekkidness of Karl.
It's gonna be a very interesting movie for me personally, be hard to see the Vikings portrayed as such demonic characters. But I guess in the eyes of the Natives, they would have been.
Plus..horns?? Why are they wearing horns on there helms??
Gah..minor flaw I spose.

I know, I'm not too happy about the fact as the Vikings are being portrayeds demons either, but I can understand why they're being portrayed as such though.
This is what it says on IMDb about the horns:
Despite knowing that the Vikings' helmets didn't historically have large animal horns on them, the film makers decided to add them in anyway. This would work with the modern audiences who have an ingrained stereotype of what a Viking should look like in their mind. Moreover, the horns make the Vikings look more terrifying.
Ugh... it's now due in 2007 appearantly. Earlier this year it was scheduled for a 2006 release  _________________

Meh, silly film makers they should have stayed historically accurate. Psht. That sort of annoys me....Oh well...The helmets sort of remind me of...Willow  Oh well, I have to agree the helmets were kind of...disturbing Not quite terrifying...but distrubing nonetheless.....

Hollywood is always to blame for all these crazy and dumb stereotypes. It's always the same group of people who are being portrayed as the Villains, and always the same group of people who are the heroes. At least the Natives aren't getting a movie where they're portrayed as ruthless savages who slaughter women and children (which is also often the case).

Hollywood tends to do this with all the potentially good movies. The always keep the stereotypes around, it's stupid. Yes, especially the Native American stereotype, I hate that one! Grr! I live in a place where the population of Native Americans is really high, so I get really angry when they portray them as ruthless savages....I've gone to powwows and other Native American gatherings, they are not as what Hollywood portrays them to be....Bah!
Hehe, I'm looking at production photos on Yahoo, Karl with just a loin cloth on coming out of the water...oh my oh my Niark.
