Wow...this is going to sound completely unshallow (gasp!) but bare with me.
I really don't want Ianto hurt by Jack and James (don't know what his Torchwood name is). I mean, I love Marsters, I love Barrowman, and I doubly love them togeather. And its not that I like Ianto better than Jack, even though its close. Its that I'd hate for Ianto to get hurt just because Jack was being a jerk, if you know what I mean. I'm very protective of Ianto. I would cry if Ianto found out about Jack and James, just because Ianto would be so sad. (although he is adorable when he's near tears ) I would rather there be no Jack and James if it ment Ianto and Jack were still together.
Well, that was my unshallow (gasp!) speech. What do you think?

If he's adorable enough whilst being hurt... No, just kidding. Ianto needs to stay safe. SafeIanto.
(By the way, it's Captain John Hart.)

You know, I highly doubt that Ianto will be hurt -- at least not much. I have no worries about that. XD
I mainly say this after a CLIP of the episode I JUST saw. *worships BBC America website* OH. MY. GOD. I'm now more worried about Captain John than anything else. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Well, guys, by some happy chance, I've managed to see the new Torchwood episode. I won't say a lot but what I will say is it's freaky awesome! The cast did far better than I thought and I have to say, Tosh has definitely got more pretty. Not that she hasn't always been, but she's really attractive in this series. Owen is still my all-time favourite (sorry, I know he's an idiot but hey, so am I.) Ianto, great as always. His lines are the greatest as usual. Captain Jack definitely got my interest really fast. I just love that guy. And Gwen, well, in the past series I kind of ignored her because of Jack and Owen, but now, she's actually gotten better. James Marsters though...AMAZING! He's better than I thought he would be. You've got to see it. It's just wonderful.

WOW!
What a way to start the new series off.
James Marsters was so awesome I could barely stand it. Everytime he was on screen I was just grinning from ear to ear.
Sucks that some of you are a little behind, but it's definetly worth the wait.
My only complaint? No Confidential.

*averts eyes from comments on new episode*
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
Must. Not. Read.
I'm just a wee bit too anxious for the episode and jealous of you lot right now. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! I can't STAND waiting for it anymore. I could probably find it somewhere online. But, NO! I will honour BBC America, as it is AWESOME because it's actually airing Torchwood ridiculously soon after the original air date. XD I just have to wait until next Saturday. Which in all truth, will be a REALLY nice present to myself because it'll be the first Saturday after school starts.
*runs around pulling hair out*
But I wanna see James SOOOOO bad.

This is a bit of a spoiler so just ignore this:
Has anyone noticed that Owen went through a personality change? I mean he's still sarcastic but he's less arrogant. When Jack introduced him, he didn't mind "Owen Harper" compared to in series one, where he insisted on people calling him "Doctor Owen Harper". And after Owen and Jack confused the bomb and all that, he seemed rather...not humble but less proud.

i don't think there are any major spoilers here.
just watched the first episode of torchwood (i missed it when it went out on bbc2, and i've only just had chance to watch it online), and it was great - it's well worth the extra few days you guys in the states have to wait.
i think torchwood's sooo much better without monsters though. during the first few minutes, with the really awful looking blowfish-man, i was just thinking "geez, the sfx department needs to get its act together", which distracted me from the programme somewhat; but once it got into the programme proper, and it was just the team and captain john, it was fantastic.
i have to say though, by setting up relationships/tension between jack and so many other characters (the doctor/ianto/john/gwen), the writers have completely undermined each of the relationships as you can't really believe his feelings for any of them. that irks me a little, but i'm not sure which relationships i'd get rid of, as they're all interesting in their own way, so i guess i shouldn't really moan.
