The spit thing? I think I've heard or seen it but I can't remember. I wouldn't mind playing the flute.

I play guitar and piano. Yay for no spit valves or reeds!  I've heard new reeds give you splinters.

I play the flute!! and piano, but I am only taking flute lessons. does that make sense? oh and by the way, flutes don't have spit valves, all you have to do is clean out the water of the head joint with a cloth and cleaning rod (basicly a long stick)

That's the same with the recorder then. I usually pour water through it and leave it to drain._________________

I'm a pianist. I'm working on my Royal Conservatory grade 8 this year, which is pretty cool. I've always wanted to play violin and flute and saxophone and guitar...er...pretty much every instrument I see I want to play!

^lol! yeah, I used to play violin, but that didn't go very well.... I have been playing piano for bou 4 or 5 years but I stopped taking lessons this year because I have so much going on.  so I am just taking flute lessons this year.

I wanna play piano. But I have no clue how. *needs lessons* I do play teh Clarinet though. And I partly know how to play Trumpet.
