Here's my story so far. Enjoy. ^_^

Paul Sanders awoke in the dream. It was the same dream he had had five nights running. In the dream, he woke up, fed his cat and got ready for work. When the day was over, he came home, went to bed, and awoke, in the dream. His family and friends were all the same. Craig and Gregg, Susan and Mary, Ed the dishwasher at the restaurant he went to every Wednesday, they all got up and went about their daily affairs, unknowing of the fact that they were all part of an elaborate dream, of a seemingly normal man. Paul Sanders was anything but normal. For all intents and purposes, Paul’s life had been normal up to this point. He had grown up in the heart of suburban Colorado, a mother and father, sister and brother, a dog, a pet snake he brought home from the park. He did well in school, though it bored him, and grew up into a completely normal person. He went to collage, decided it wasn’t for him, got a job at a furniture store, and his life fell into a familiar rut that he did not intend to get out of. He tried and failed at romace, but he had friends. Golf buddies, drinking buddies, buddies for his 10 Steps to a Better You class. They all had similar lives and similar hobbies, and were about as run of the mill as you could get. Time wore on, and the friends changed in little other than appearance. The conversations, outings, and parties were almost identical to the ones they had had when they first met. Nearing 35, Paul was totally comfortable with his lifestyle. When others suggested he try something new or different, he scoffed. He was happy like he was; a boring, normal person. But as his 34th year drew to a close, Paul noticed something that was completely out of the ordinary. He also noticed that people he had known for years began to change.

When Paul Sanders awoke on that sleepy morning in late October, he felt that things were not all right. He got up and looked out the same window he had looked out of every morning for nearing on 14 years. It looked the same, yet somehow different. He left his bedroom and fed the cat, took a shower. Something was different. Had he grabbed a different kindof soap? No, it was the same kind. What was it? He got dressed, ate breakfast, got in his tiny green car (had it always been green?) and took the same rout to the furniture store he worked at that he had taken since he started working there. Something was different. The sameness of his daily routine was gone.

Sounds good! I like how you describe him being so normal in the first part.

I want to join... If you will let me. When I was younger I wanted to become an author. But now I wanna become an actress... I still write, though. This club is such a great idea.

I would like to join. I like to write, but I have so much trouble getting what I want to write onto paper sooo frustrating... *sigh*

And I started yet another story. XD I gennerally have several going so I alwasy have somthing to work on if I get writer's block. This one's going to be about witches in the middle ages.

I know exactly what you mean Fool of a Took. I have atleast 6 stories going right now and I have writers block for everyone of them. And it's really depressing because I want to write but i can't! It's very frustrating!!!

Aiya! Yun i eneth nin,
I was wondering if it were alright if i joined this club son i can feel at home with fellow authors. I have been writing since about 8 roughly, now i'm 13 nearly 14. I love writing fantasy stories including lotr fanfic and harry potter fan fic. But in my archive of 100 i have around 50 non fanfic stories. The most serious one i have now is about a retarded boy and his older brother that takes care of him. If you would like to read it please pm me. But here is a list of my most recent works i am writing:
Genuine brotherhood-two brothers, one disfunctional family. One is retarded and one is lost. Can the retarded brother help find the lost one?Can the lost one help the retarded brother?This is their genuine brotherhood.

My Daughter's gardener-Two girls,two eras. Jean is a girl who calls her garden home but when an older man comes into her life, is it love? Lidia is a young girl, she helps her father in the garden but one day a young man steps into her life and upsets the balance of her and her father's relationship. Are these two stories one?

You I shall bear, greenleaf- Chronicles of Legolas and Thranduil life since he was a toddler to adult.
