I think they made too many mistakes with her. Like, it's not about not finding the movie scary. There are plenty of horror movies I love that aren't scary, like Saw. Those are my cuddly-wuddly movies. If I'm having a terrible day I'll put them on and I get all awwh and happy. But they just had such a good concept with Mama but couldn't execute it.

I've watched two more horror films now. Gomennasai (Japanese) and Vittra (Swedish). The Japanese one was actually pretty good. The Swedish one was atrociously bad. Seriously. It was embarrassing how bad it was.

The Japanese are in general not that great at horror films. They're usually confusing and strange, rather than intense and frightening. x]
