Hiya! Around here on A-U I've seen bad spelling, and I know I've spelt plenty of thing wrong and am not ashaimed of it!

So lets have club for those bad spellers to come together and talk about the words, long or short, that we've spelt wrong over time!

Okay, all you out there know I love horses and anything that goes with it! Well... one day I was writing a report for school about horses and I spelt saddle like sabble! :blush: how embaressing! Me of all people spelt saddle wrong! Now, what did you people out there spell wrong?

Hmmmm. I also like horses, and I was writing a story, and instead of horse, I wrote hores. I'm glad I fixed it before anyone read it.

I was also doing a report on Cornwalis. I went to spell check, needing all the help I could get. It turns out that Cornwallis is spelled wrong, and should instead be Cornballs.

I'm a horrible speller. One of my most embarrassing mispellings took place in second or third grade, can't remember since I had the same teacher both years, and we were drawing pictures of butterflies and I had to spell out butterfly and I spelled it buttfly lol.

lol, hat's awesome! Okay, here's the worse one. THhrough-out the whole year of K and 1st grade, I could never figure out how to spell the word "OF" It was the hardest spelling for me and I kept spelling it "APH"! How embrassing!!!!!!

Aph is pretty bad but buttfly is still worse in my opinion, mainly because my teacher and the pair professional both laughed at me. Although now looking back on it, it is pretty funny. I wish I still had that picture.

Oh please let me join! I'm notoriously horrible at spelling. I think the word i frequently spell wrong is "through". I've spelled it "thrugh" "thorough" and my favorite, "threwgh" That last one is really embarassing.

Me, I get my 'b' and 'd' s mixed up all the time. Like I say niddle instead of nibble... and so on!
