I have to join...no really. It's not just essential, it's quintessential. ![]() My heritage is of Norway. My attention was brought to the culture via a school project when I was very young. I later found out my family on my fathers side was descended from vikings. The rest is history. I also have a deep love of Finland and Sweden. |

So, I take it "Turisas" is a band...or something? ![]() So, since I've never been to Norway, or any other Scandinavian country...would anyone like to elaborate on any of them? I watched that YouTube movie...pretty cool! Be that Sweden then? I've been planning to do a foreign exchange for years and was thinking of settling with New Zealand or the UK...but I think they also offered a place in Oslo...which could be fun! ![]() ![]() |

Haha absolutely ![]() It's also very clean here. Towns and cities usually spend a lot of money in restoring buildings and keeping the streets as clean as possible. All waters are free from pollution and whatever you flush down the toilet does directly to large cleaning fascilities so whatever water that goes back into lakes and rivers is 100% clean! |

![]() Yes as Phoenix pointed out it is, the name comes from Iku-Turso, which is a sea monster and a god like living in the waters in Kalevala.... |

That's so wickedly awesome! That sounds like what my town is trying to do! ![]() And that band sounds really cool! WOO! |

We've had these cleaning fascilities since the invention of the toilet I think, so we've always "been there" haha. People usually go fishing and swimming downtown Stockholm (which is a city built on islands so there is water everywhere!), it's that clean! |

I was looking for this club in the Club Directory, but since Kit hasn't got around to update yet, I had to browse through 5 pages or so to find it... I just think it's a shame that so many clubs must face a slow death as they gradually get pushed down to oblivion, soon after their bright birth... |
