I had this great thing to say, but I have no idea what it is now, because I got distracted by the man-candy.

*Uses resurrection gauntlet-sorry, Risen Mitten-to bring this thread back to life.
So...does anyone know when Torchwood is coming back? Isn't it supposed to be this summer?

^I'm glad someone did :/! It's been weeks since anyone's posted here ! I stopped checking the thread several weeks ago.
As to your question on the date(s) Children of Earth is going to air: July 20th to 24th. BBC America's upped the ante on advertising for it over the past few weeks. We now have a total of three teasers (all of which are good, BTW ), a new trailer, and a quick little behind-the-scenes thing that has mostly snippets of interviews with the cast and creators. You can probably find all of that stuff on YouTube 8). It's also gathered together in one place on another site, but I think you have to sign up before you can see anything (I wouldn't recommend that, though, as the forum's going to be taken down on July 31st). Actually, you know what, I think I'll just post the links to that stuff on here 8).
Teaser 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxMPXxogF_U
Teaser 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZVxCJY75eI
New Trailer: http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethe...e-trailer.html
I couldn't find the third teaser or that clip of the interviews, but both are probably posted elsewhere :]. Enjoy what I've put here 8)!

There are also going to be 3 radio plays, like Lost Souls, on BBC 4 leading up to Children of Earth.
Quote: Following the huge success of Torchwood: Lost Souls, which was broadcast as part of Radio 4's Big Bang season last year, the Torchwood cast are set to return to the airwaves in three brand new Torchwood radio plays.
Three 45 minute episodes will air in Radio 4's Afternoon Play slot at 2.15pm. The three new radio plays bridge the gap between Torchwood: Lost Souls and the upcoming Torchwood: Children of Earth television series.
The episodes feature Captain Jack (John Barrowman), Gwen (Eve Myles) and Ianto (Gareth David-Lloyd) and have been recorded over the last two weeks. The episodes will be broadcast in advance of Torchwood: Children of Earth and will be available in the UK on BBC iPlayer and as a download for 7 days after broadcast.
Asylum by Anita Sullivan The story of a teen runaway called Freda who is brought to the attention of Torchwood by PC Andy. As Gwen, Jack and Ianto investigate where this troubled girl has come from, Andy finds himself drawn closer than ever before into the world of Torchwood.
Golden Age by James Goss Torchwood go to India to investigate the disappearance of hundreds of people. The trail leads them to an old colonial club which seems strangely stuck in the past as does its young and beautiful owner, the Duchess.
The Dead Line by Phil Ford A series of mysterious phone calls lead Jack into danger, and result in 'a very emotional moment for Ianto'.

Oooo! Radio shows! How do you listen to it if you're from the US? Do you have to get it off iTunes?

HELLO?! Has anyone been watching Torchwood? I'm in the US for goodness sakes, and I've seen all of them, so...
Except for tonight's, obviously, because it hasn't played yet.

I'm going to say a few things, that pertains to this week of CoE, but I'm not going to actually spoil anything.
This week was just...absolutely brilliant. Tragic and awful, but beautiful and elegant. I laughed, and my heart broke. To be honest, I still feel a little bit in shock, and every time I think of the series my heart cringes a little bit.
But may I just say this--if this was the end of Torchwood Three, it was brilliant. Legendary. If it WASN'T the end of Torchwood Three, and they try to carry on...it'll be ruined utterly. It's really amazing how RTD managed that. Just...wow.

Okay. So I glanced at that picture, and it made me laugh (just so you know, I was very stupid and completely forgot that Torchwood came out). So I started reading some of the comments, and some of them were kinda spoilerish. Something about Ianto dying. I didn't really get a good look at it, because as soon as I saw "Ianto" and "dying" in the same sentence I turned away. Oh Ianto, don't die. I had a minorly major freak out last season when I thought it was you that would die, and not Owen. Please don't be dead now.
So of course, now I have to go search for it on the internet. Anyone know any good sites?
EDIT: Shadowcat, on your link I went to the next photo, and I saw Ianto on the ground with Jack beside him and I had another freak out. No Ianto, no! He can't die. He's my wonderful little Welshman.

YouTube's the best, I think, the other sites are too confusing.

Yeah, definitely. And please, watch it soon. I think I might burst if I don't discuss some of the fantastic writing.
"Who's the queer?"
"OI! It's not 1965 anymore!"
"He's a queer, I can smell it."
Just moments like that. Hilarious and amazing.
