Welcome one and all! If you're obsessed with fonts - on banners, blends, coffee cups, candy bars, highway billboards - then this is the place for you! If you have the random tendency to shout out fonts in public when you see them, you are not alone.
The purpose of this club is not only about discussing how obsessed with fonts we are, but also recommending new fonts and offering font sites. We hope you have a great time and enjoy your stay!

It's called [insert font name here]!' and then my friends and/or family look at me like I've grown dragon wings or something. mwa. fonts are too awesome. so, I would love to join. I think my favourite would be... hm, there are so many... maybe karabinE at the moment... or la fractouille... or, or, ... *continues rambling*

Oh, I am so glad I'm not the only one who says fonts out loud when I see them on posters. xD I was a bit worried about that.
Definitely joining this club. My favourite font at the moment is 3 grammes 5. And because I'm a boring traditionalist, Times New Roman (set to Italics though). Oh, but they're all so awesome.

I'll join! I like fonts muchly. I always spend the longest time trying to find "just the right font" for graphics. My favorite right now? Hm... I have quite a few favorites, but I'd say Dear Joe Five.

May I join?
And a question!
Do you guys know where I may be able to download Goudy font? I just got a new Vista desktop and frown upon my lack of Goudyness.

Hm, you can try going here; you just need to find Goudy on the page... and all of them are Truetype files, so it should work on your computer.
I hope that's what you were looking for, Kit. ^^

OK.. I'm not a graphics maker so I don't know if I can join but I love fonts.
Started off with trying to find an impossible-to-read-by-anyone-but-me font as I was fed up with people copying off my screen (I have to use a laptop in my lessons) and it grew from there.
My fav font is Fanjofey Leoda AH because I can make my work look all elvish without having to remember the keymap for the Tengwar fonts.
Non -LotR fonts: Either a theme for murder or JaneAusten.

I'm not alone! Yay! I got a shirt for Christmas, and my first thought was "that font is Mutlu!" *is such a geek*
Might I join? My favorite font at the moment is probably Helvetica. Boring and simple, I know.

Font Geeks united! w00t! My favorite font of the moment is I Still Know. My other never fail font is Trajan Pro, which I use on practically everything.
Ah, geeky font moments. My most memorable was when I was in Starbucks with several friends, and there was this mural of text on the wall. As I stared at it, I was like, "That's Violation! And that one's Hannibal Lecter!" I was treated to very strange stares.

Can I join?
Pretty please?
You WILL let me join.
I insist on joining!
(Too much sugar and not enough sleep has made Esteleth a tad wonky.)
I remember one time seeing a McDonald's commercial...and I was all like "Oh my gosh, that's Eras Light ITC! I love that font!" Yup, I got a bunch of weird looks. *Grins* And another time I saw Scriptina on a billboard and started freaking out...
I don't think I can choose a favorite font. I like grungy fonts and script-like cursive fonts the best (grungy+script=awesome.) And I also have a weakness for black letter calligraphy, but I have trouble fitting it into my graphics...I think my favorites right now would be...uh...Ginga, Olho de Boi, Jellyka Castle's Queen, Justice, Eras Light ITC, Eutemia, and Copperplate Gothic Light.
Yeah.
