A club for anyone who likes braiding hair, wants to learn how to, or just likes the way it looks.

Since the first one is pretty dead with an inactive starter, I made this. I know a lot of people wanted to join the old one, but I am horrible remembering names so please bear with me and post on this thread if you want to join.

Everyone is added!
Okay, so what kinds of braids can you all do? I can do French braid, normal (duh), four strand, and I am learning how to do the one that looks like a headband.

I can do just about any kind of braid, except fishtail, which I am working on.

Yeah, it is so hard, hard I often give up and do a normal braid!

I can do french, dutch, fishtail/herringbone, 3 strand. I want to learn lace braiding, but my hair doesn't always agree. And I can do cornrows on my own head.

What is a Dutch braid and a lace braid? (Wow, cornrows on your own head... I definitely could not do that... :))

A dutch braid(or inside out french braid) when it is braided it goes under the middle strand rather than over it.

A lace braid is basically taking hair from one side or the other in either french or dutch fashion.

The cornrows is because of my length of hair(down past my butt), but I learned it without any videos. I just them one night because I needed something to get my hair up for a few days during the summer.

Cool. I'll have to try those sometime, except I will probably use my sister's hair... Mine is shorter than hers.

Look on youtube for torrinpaige's channel, she has very good tutorials for hair braiding.
Along with Loepsie, and Ladollyvita33 and her new channel ladollyvita333.

I love braids!! Can't braid my own hair though..which is annoying. Also I just got a new haircut. Now my hair is layered and not braidable. :frust:
