Okay everyone!

This club is for everyone who LOVES Batman, the comics, movies...whatever! Here we can talk and babble on about our geeky love for the billionaire Bruce Wayne with an AWESOME alter ego!

Personally, I've loved Batman for as LONG as I can remember. I have pictures of myself from when I was a wee little child with THE coolest Batman themed party and CAKE!!! I am also a fan of the movies, Michael Keaton's Batman more than Val Kilmer and George Clooney. But, the new "Batman Begins" is by far the BEST! (Of the movies) Christian Bale in my opinion IS Batman/Bruce Wayne. Um, I used to have a lot of the comics but I think my dad has taken them and hidden them away in storage for "safe keeping."

I think the reason I love him so much, is the fact that he IS human. He HAS no super powers! He's just a dedicated billionaire who loves his hometown! A friend of mine found some website that actually had figured out how much it would cost to become Batman. I'll try to find it for you guys.

Okay, enough about my ridiculous love for the best crime stopper EVER!

OK, Montana, I have NEVER joined a club on this forum. But I'm going to request membership for this one, because:
1) You are my friend
2) I love Christian Bale, and
3) BATMAN ROCKS!

I didn't grow up reading the comics like I did with X-Men, but I have always thought that Batman is way more amazing than Superman, and has more interesting villains to fight (Penguin, Joker, etc.) He's my favorite superhero...though the X-Men have a special place in my crime-fighting book
I didn't like ANY of the Batman movies until Batman Begins came out...and you're right, Christian Bale IS Batman. Stupid Katie Holmes though!

His villians DO seem more interesting...don't know why. Guess they're more insane! Ha ha ha...Joker. I do agree with you on the movie thing though. As much as I love Michael Keaton (I basically ignore all the others), they can in no way compare to the new movie.

Hmmm....I need to start reading the comics again. Bob Kane (is that who it is?) is my hero!

Oh, and I was wondering, can we really classify Batman as a "super" hero? Because he doesn't have any super powers...he's just a man. And a handsome one at that.

Oh yeah...Katie Holmes. Bah!

I would like to join! Personally, Batman was my favorite comic hero so I had to see the Batman Begins movie. I had also saw Batman, the first one, and Batman Forever but I thought that Batman Begins was the best one. It had a predominantly British cast, which probably made it better. Christian Bale seems so natural when he played Batman. Michael Caine made a wonderful Alfred and they finally got Jim Gordon right. I was almost in a happy fit when I found that out. And Liam Neeson and Cillian Murphy played awesome villians. I really loved Ra's al Ghul in that movie. Morgan Freeman was really cool in that movie. In fact, my only complaint is Katie Holmes.

I really do have to agree with everything you said! Micahel Caine and Gary Oldman were just superb. When I saw "Batman Begins," I walked out of the theatre thinking, "Huh, so this is how you save the Batman franchise: recruit the British!" Ha ha ha. I think most everyone's one and only complaint is Katie Holmes. Ha ha ha!

I like Batman too. I have seen every movie made by Hollywood. The last one was amazingly beautiful compared with the others. I guess Batman Begins deserve a sequel. I would like to see Scarecrow, Joker and Two Face in the sequel. They would make a great company and really make the life hard for Batman. Gary Oldman is a legend. Since every movie he played and eveery role he took became a legend with him I guess

It was a stunning film, was it not? I mean, if you don't even look at it as a Batman film, it's quite beautiful. Which is probably a big reason why I love it over all the others.

I agree with you about the sequel! I'm just really excited to see how they would portray the Joker! And Two Face. Larien was right, Batman does have some pretty wicked awesome villians! Ha ha ha! I mean, they're SO fascinating.

And Gary Oldman IS a legend! He's SO bloody cool!! Ha ha ha.

Batman Begins is my favorite one thus far, but it's been wayy too long since I saw any of the other Batman movies... =/

I agree, I haven't seen the old ones in a LONG time. Wait, I take that back....well, it was about a month and a half ago...but I happened to come across an old one with, whom besides Christian Bale, is Batman: Michael Keaton!!!! I met him at some function fundraiser thingy that one of our senators was putting on. Oh god. I was like freaking out (in my head) because I grew up with this man as Batman to me. Hee hee hee. Yay!!!

Batman Begins was probably the best of all the ones done though. Christian Bale was by far the best actor for it. He really fitted the dark, and emotional character that makes both Bruce Wayne and Batman. He's not like the other people who played him they just pretty much fit Batman. But this guy can do both his secret idenity, and his alter ego.

I heard about the next one they'll be doing where they introduce the joker. I just hope the actor can pull off his slimy, yet sickly comical, and yet very dark attitude.
